Nadya smiled and nodded. "We'll see you in the morning, then," she said softly. "Sleep well ... and let me know if you need anything. You know where I am."
And with that, she disappeared back into the kitchen to clean up the rest of their snack.

Daemon chuckled a bit that.
It's a curse sometimes, it always creeps other people out. I don't normally feel creeped out unless there's a seer that knows more than I do.
Which really wasn't that hard to Daemon, not in long run stuff he didn't tend to predict those. Well.. not often.

It's kind of intriguing, though, Gion admitted thoughtfully. I mean ... the way you guys seem to know everything - I know you don't, it just seems like it at times ...
He chuckled inwardly.
It's probably a good thing she never intends to marry, he told Daemon bemusedly. Because if she ever did, her husband would have to be very careful in what he does.
Not that elves were the type to cheat or fool around, but even the small things - where they went on trips, the kinds of people they interacted with ... Nadya would know it all. Or could - which was actually a scarier thought.

Well getting a spouse isn't bad, it's finding one that that wouldn't be uneased about the whole idea.
Daemon replied back thinking about Yume, he was lucky with Yume, foresight and second sight were things sought out by her clan.

If a man truly loved her, Gion replied, going into his room and closing the door behind him, he would be able to get used to it.
Not that there was anyone who would need to, since of course Nadya had no intentions of every marrying. But that wasn't to say the possibility didn't exist: after all, love didn't exactly give people much choice after all.
He began to undress.

Yes, well that and if a man truly loved her he would trust her enough to not purposely view him or take anything she sees the wrong way. Really that's the main reason why people get creeped out, is the idea that a person can view anything at any time, which of course isn't really true, but it's just about as close to the truth as you can get.
Daemon explained, after all even with Yume's background he knew it had to do with a bit of trust.

True, Gion agreed, taking off the sword and setting it on the bed. He slipped out of the rest of his clothes and lay down, pulling the blanket up to just below his chest.
So, think we'll find out anything more about Sheridan tomorrow? he asked Daemon as he settled in for the night.

Probably.... we just got here after all and only have what little Nadya will tell us. It won't hurt have casual conversations with everyone, get to know the people. This was your parents' after all, it's well a courtesy that their son should get to know everyone.
Daemon replied quite innocently, and in fact the reason behind it was very innocent. Nothing ot suggest they, or Gion had a problem or worry about one of the workers.

Good point, Gion agreed. Besides, I think it might be interesting to see if any of them even know who they're really working for. I mean, Elnara's only been here for what, two days in the last twenty years? I doubt any of them even know her name.
He shrugged mentally, then closed his eyes and got comfortable.

Daemon replied back, knowing that Gion was right, and it looked like no one else bothered to come here which was a pity. He wondered who was suppose to be looking after the vineyard.

Gion was half-tempted to create a dream world to keep talking to Daemon, but his friend was right: he needed rest. Especially after such a long journey as they had just finished.

Daemon quieted for the night letting Gion rest while he kept himself occupied, which wasn't hard, for this current situtation created many questions... and in turn many thoughts.
