I shop there because its the ususal place to find some band t-shirts...but I think your hot topic is just being gay...cause the people at the ones that I shop at are really awesome..and true punkers..like they came from that time period. I unno...my people are nice ^-^

".......... :/" wow wtf is up with her? Shes sooo stupid! I see people with Hollister/Abercrombie bags walking in there all of the time... They have stuff in there for all types of people really.. (besides old fashioned people). The workers in the hottopics by me are really nice.. I guess Lunar's friend lives in a place where a bunch of people are snots... (not her, some people). Because, tthe people in my Hottopic don't say anything to me if they don't like what i'm buying. If they like it, sometimes they will complement. But never would insult me.. Maybe because I'm a really short person walking in. But i've never seen them be mean to anyone. i dont like you jello. from wut youve been saying about not hating emos and hating the stereotype and all this weird stuff is making me think your emo. and by dat song on ur profile its really weird. making me think ur emo. i hate emo bands like chemical romance greenday AFI and bassically every band is emo. Green Day is not emo so go check yourself... I can accept it if you call them trendy and s**t but there is no way in ******** hell that they are ******** emos

The new Greenday sounds like any other crappy band.
The old stuff was more punk sounding, different--- unique even. What they are today, is utter crap in my opinion. @_@;

I agree with Lunar. But I think you need to calm down Greenday. I mean, people takin' hits at your favorite band, it hurts, I know, but only one person thinks their 'emo' or whatever so why don't we get off this stupid subject ( I mean, this is about Hot Topic, not Green Day. Go make another thread or some s**t if you wanna rant about the person calling Green Day emo. )?

I actually like hot topic, but the posers and emo kids get on my nerves. One time I saw a jacket that said,"Don't mess with Hawthorne Heights" and I said "Why shouldn't I mess with Hawthorne Heights? Their just a p***y band." and all the emo kids glared at me! xd
Btw everyone, if you like Hawthorne Heights, don't get all pissed about me expressing my opinion on them.

serjtankian_is_god Yeah. All the things at hot topic are concidered 'emo'. I think thats stupid. Why the ******** do they have to pruchase their clothing and accesories at hot topic?! gosh! I'll go to school one day, with a Invader Zim shirt, and the day later, I see the same one, being worn by 3 different 'emo' kids at my school. me~"Hey....yeah....hi....so where did you buy your shirt?" 1st emo~"Hot Topic" 2nd emo~"Hot Topic" 3rd emo~"Hot Topic" gonk I can't even wear my belt anymore! A kid in third grade came up to me last month, and asked "Abbie, are you emo?" and the only 'emo' thing I was wearing was my belt. <******** kids! scream

They're no Hot Topics around here and ordering offline is too damn expensive for my taste. I've been on the site recently and, maybe it's just because of the steriotype but I really dislike the clothes.

Here.I'm going to take it that because you very obviously dont know what emo actually is you should do some reading. My Chemical Romance, Greenday, AFI, none of those bands are emo. None of them. They are a shitty bubble gum pop style of music that the media and idiots wrongfully label as emo. Though I must admit, emo or not, all of those bands suck incredibly badly.

Hot Topic used to be awesome. The one where I live is now totally infested with emos. You walk in and the 1st thing you see is a Hawthorne Heights or 30 Seconds To Mars sweatshirt. its crazy! So I don't even go there anymore. I do like SOME of the stuff they have, but now I don't wanna support their whole going "scene" thing.
