Kat flicked her tail, rolled her eyes and sighed and nuzzled her head beneath his chin with a purr, "No, I just want to make sure your alright...not hurt, don't want you hurt...that so much to ask?" she said with a giggle, giving him a quick lick on his cheek before she got off of him. (sounds weird eh? >>; )
She sat back, looked towards their hiding place den thing, then to him, "Come on, no more race, we can go together," she said smirking. Why was she acting this way, she was never, this flirtatious before, was she? Or was this something else? It was foreign to her...
It was strange.

ERRRRR.
Ai's brain had hit the 'RESET' button a bit ago, and it slowly seemed to reboot as the brown lioness nuzzled the bottom of his chin, and he laughed nervously, purring and attempting to return the lick-to-the-cheek, but failing horribly, before rolling over onto his stomach and using his paws to sit himself up, even against their sore protests.
"Alrighty.." he succumbed, rising to his feet to stand by her side...
Crazy chicks.. do they always turn so.... 'interesting' the moment they know a guy has it for them? .. I'll have to ask dad..
However, he was pretty sure he never would ask his father on such things. At least, he didn't think so.

She tilted her head at him in a questioning manner...she actually just wanted to know what he was thinking. Hmm, what to do? She was sure she couldn't get it out of him, how would she do such a thing anyway? She didn't want to beat it out of him, that'd be mean. Perhaps it would fade from her mind, then she wouldn't have the need to know what he was thinking...
Though she still wanted to know.
As she began to pad towards their den-place, she yawned, she was embarrassed for doing it really, she didn't want to be tired, not just yet, today had been the best day ever...well, one of them, best day was the day she met Ai...another one when he saved her, yes, everything was better here, better when she was with him.

He followed along after her with a sort of 'droop' to his walk, as if he too were also tired (though Kat denied such things. Ai was always in a state of exhaustion..). Ai's tail dragged along the ground as he walked, bumping against the brown lioness's side, before crawling under the gap that made the rock-space the pair called 'home', yawning.
Once on the other side, he flopped onto his side, though wasn't laying quite yet, waiting for the lioness to take her place by his side before he would rest his head on her back and fall asleep.
It had been such a lovely day, but, unfortunately, tomorrow would have no likelihood of being as lovely unless the pair got a good amount of sleep.
Little did Ai know, that the next day would bare a great amount of walking about and surprise for himself as to meetings.
For suuure.

Kat smiled at Ai as he bumped into her, she nudged back, only slightly though. She was tired, she'd probably fall asleep very quickly at this rate. Hmm, seemed being energetic and flirtatious at the same time took a lot out of her. Kat would have to remember that, surely she would. She flicked her tail and crouched down and crawled under the rock after Ai, watched him plop himself down.
She was too tired to tease/flirt now.
Kat padded over to him and plopped down next to him, smiling she curled up as close as she could get and nuzzled her head under his chin and purred, then laid her head on his paws and closed her eyes with a yawn. Tomorrow will be grand... she mused as she started to drift off. I love him...
"I love you..." she said softly, the last coherent think she thought of before she drifted off completely, to the blackness of sleep, soon to be invaded by dreams of smiles, happiness, and Ai.
