The bridle that you're using isn't a side pull. Its just a nylon western bridle. A side pull is a bitless bride, I use one on my three year old. This her with the Side pull. Side Pull I actually have that same blue bridle that you have. I don't use it anymore though because they come undone to easy.

I just got an Austrailian Saddle for Chrismas..I've only used it a couple times, but I LOVE it. Its comfy, and though it doesn't have a horn, I still feel very secure in it. Its dark brown and its got razor wire stamps on it along with kangaroos. Haha....my horse also looks kick a** in purple, so I've got purple reins and a purple saddle pad, and a purple saddle bag and a purple saddle cover.

I love western! It was the style that I used when I first started ridding. I also ride bareback.

My favourite pony has a black all-purpose (English) saddle. Although it's really, really uncomfortable. She has a running martingale and uses a regular bridle apart from that. I don't really know that much about them though sweatdrop

My aunt gave me her 18 inch all purpose light and dark brown leather english saddle. I LOVE my english bridle, the color, the smell, the fact I paid 20$ for it used. wink My english bridle is an all purpose, though with the large flat wide nose band, and short thin reins, it might have belonged to a dressage rider, not a jumper. I also LOVE my bits. All 3 of them. My tiny 4 inch pony western bit from Griffith Saddle's and Bridles was a steal at 7$. I also adore the western bit Daddy got me that was 5 inches long (so Penny doesn't get mouth sores) that is double linked and has long cheek pieces, and it is completely stainless steel. Oh I just love all my stuff that I have in my tack room~ From the Apple treats to the Zip up boots~ I love it all~
BUT~ There is one exception. My first bridle. Burgundy in color, western bridle with stainless silver attaches. It is the perfect thing if I ever saw a bridle. It works great with my stainless steel D ring english bit too~

I'm between horses/barns right now, so my garage looks like a scary tack room! My Western saddles are both pretty unusual, I have a custom red and black western saddle with silver spider webs and spiders tooled into all the leather, and i have a matching bridle and rommel reins for that. I also have a nice show saddle with matching bridle and breast collar, with lots of silver on it, but its a deep intense GREEN! I guess i like unusual tack, lol. My english and dressage saddles are much more typical, but i've got english boots with lots of buckles and pointy toes made by Dr.martins (the company that does all those crazy punk combat boots!)

I usually go bareback, but I use a Stubben jumping saddle, an average english bridle, and a polo mallet in lessons.

I ride endurance. I can't afford to color coordinate, so my tack is pretty mismatched, but comfy.
I have a beaten up, brown, leather Bob Marshel treeless sports saddle w/ a faded blue Skito pad, and a dayglow red girth; black biothane reins and headstall w/ a purple, nylon brow band, and black and white, leather nose band; a black biothane crupper; and a black biothane chest band thingy (I'm spacing on the name) that was been repaired w/ blue duck tape.

Whatever I would need to ride a horse are my favorites I guess. I'm not really into all these different styles of riding and stuff like that..

Yeah, I don't own a horse, but my favorite kind of tack would have to be a Collegiate All-Purpose Saddle with a Normal (not jumping) bridle. As for the bit, it would depend on the horse I'm riding.

I also Adore my Halters and Lead Ropes and my oh so cute saddle pads! The newer one I got is a navy blue, with a nice light blue trim, and is quilted on the under side for mega comfort while riding. My other saddle pad is a lighter navy blue, but with a nice aqua trim with a lighter quilted under side for summer riding.
My good halter is a nice burgundy in color, has GOLD accents and attachments, and is one of the safety halters. It has a clip like you would see on a set of cross-ties. x3 I love it cause it's my fave color too~ xD My good lead rope is a nice 100% cotton red and white lead with a silver clip on the end. It works great as reins for bareback too! xD My other halter, which is a sorta faded red, kinda ratty, with harsh silver parts to it, and a normal clip on the throat latch. My other lead is an anti-break lead that puts pressure on the horses crown when the pull back to try and break the lead if spooked. It works, but I don't need it now that Penny is at my home. (she leads like an Angel, and when you tie her, she doesn't do her little I MUST BREAK THE ROPE act. xD )
My next fave tack piece is my stirrups. XD I love them so! Safety stirrups at that. x3 They have reddish pink safety elastics on them, and are polished stainless silver. x3 Worth the 35$ they costed me. xD
