Kechara turned darker, "U-um....j-just thoughts..." She mumbled, "About th-things..." She half-hoped he wouldn't pry anymore, because she would be horribly embarrassed to say what she had been thinking, but at the same time...well, she wondered what Briar would think of her thoughts.
She continued to clean her hands, focusing only on that.

Briar nodded. "Things," he repeated. "Things can be fun or interesting or both." He continued to clean his paws He wondered what sort of things Kechara would have her mind, though he decided not to pry any farther. She didn't seem to be ready to tell him what she had been thinking about.

Kechara flushed again, "W-well, I guess you could call them interesting thoughts..." She finished cleaning her paws and shook them a bit to dry them faster, "Is there anything you would like to do now?" She asked, tilting her head to the side, "Play a game...go find a place to sleep...go home....anything?" She flushed, keeping her gaze fixed on a point on the ground once again.

"Well, uninteresting thoughts wouldn't be much fun to think on," Briar mumbled in thought as he finished washing his own paws. He pulled them out of the water and shook them dry, being careful not to splash Kechara with the water. "Hm." He pondered what to do as he covered a yawn with a now clean paw. He felt a bit tired after everything. A nap sounded nice, right then.

Kechara glanced at him and smiled, "We can go back in the shade and take a nap, if you like," She offered, "We should rest if you're tired." She pressed a paw to her mouth, stopping her own yawn, "Of course, we can do something else if you like..." There was nothing else for Kechara to do, after all, and it wasn't as if anything else would be happening for a while.

Briar nodded and covered another yawn with a paw. "A nap would probably be good," he agreed. He looked around and found a nice shady spot under and tree. Leading the way over, he got comfortable resting against the tree and patted the spot next to him in gesture for Kechara to come join him.

Kechara followed after her mate and blushed a bit as he lay down and patted the spot next to him. She followed his directions and sat, not touching him just incase he didn't want it. Leaning back against the tree, she tilted her head, smiling a bit, "I'll see you when I wake up, right?" She asked, almost-joking. It was still hard to believe....and it had only happened yesterday.

Briar put an arm around Kechara and drew her closer to him. "See you when I wake up," he agreed. He nuzzled his snout against Kechara and gave her cheek a small lick. It had only been one day since they became mates, but Briar already knew he liked resting with Kechara at his side much more than resting alone.

Kechara squeaked softly as he pulled her closer and blushed as her nuzzled and licked her cheek, "Okay..." She closed her eyes, nuzzling her head and his fur. She hadn't realized she was this tired, she had assumed she would lie awake for a while, allowing Briar to sleep with her keeping watch. This had been the idea, but she found herself drifting off to sleep. Well...it wasn't as if she could complain, not if she was with Briar.
