I made a fantastic burger, but afterwards I felt kinda..nautious. Perhaps because I ate it too quickly. ANYWAYS
Ingredients: Mozzarella or Swiss, Ground Beef, Sliced onion, Regular Bun, mustard.
Make your beef patty really thin. Really thin. Less than a centimeter. And make it as wide as the bun, if not further. Fry/cook. Barely caramelize the onions.
Flatten the buns. As low as they go. Toast them on the pan. (not the insides.) Mustard the bottom part, LIGHTLY. Scrape off recess. Think of it as a colouring procedure.
Melt cheese onto beef. Get it all the way around by using a pot lid. Assemble and eat slowly.

You were not lying when you mentioned a wonderful burger in your join request! surprised This sounds fantastic. I'll have to get my boyfriend to make this for me some time.

It's like a grilled cheeseburger, with all the flattening!

xd The bun-flattening and grilling idea comes from a local franchise called Dic Ann's, but their burgers are grotesquely small (about 3 inches in diameter) and cost 2.85.
They also have a secret spicy sauce they put on, but my house burger is damn fine and stands in comparison. Never have I been so enthusiastic about a house burger. whee heart heart heart
