"Since I was last in Konoha?" Makoto sat back up and opened his eyes. "Well when I got back home I was the head of Team 8 and the three of us did some missions on the sea between Konoha and the Mist. Then my team changed and I headed a transfer ninja to Konoha. Willo was her name. Then I did some non active work and eventually found my way to a promotion. Now I'm here."
