This atmosphere, as I said to crystalsmuse in a PM, is a bit too control-freak-ish. If someone forgets punctuation or uses incorrect grammar, it is polite to ignore them. The mods here just jump down people's throats and it bugs me. I'm quitting, so nobody PM me or anything. OK?

I'm really sorry you feel that way. As I said in my reply PM to you I don't want people to feel like we are grammar nazis, but it is in the rules that I would at least like people to try. I wouldn't ask you to change your post unless there was something against the rules in it.A Rules blurb Attempt to Use Proper English We aren't English and Grammar teachers (at least most of us?), and we understand that some people aren't native speakers of English while others simply aren't good at punctuation. We don't expect perfection, but we do expect an honest effort. If you are not a good speller, type your posts into a word-processing program and spell-check them or download the google toolbar and use it's text spell checker before posting them. (If you are having problems, one of the Staff Members can edit your post to make it more understandable.) In addition, no netspeak or leetspeak will be tolerated, nor will various "cute" styles of posting such as aLtErNaTiNg CaPs, bolding or italicizing entire posts (to the point where it hurts to read it), or never-ending strings of emoticons. Compliance with this rule will help you avoid the wrath of the FSFBG Staff and the disdain of our regularly active members. It will also make life a lot easier for our large non-native-English-speaker population. Not to mention it will help all of us understand what the hell you're trying to say! We can't help you if we can't understand you! This is my rule on grammar and as long as you are honestly trying to use good grammar I have no problem. I am sorry if you felt harassed and encourage you to explain how you came to feel this way and who made you feel that way. If my crew aren't enforcing the rules the right way I'd like to know.

Clearly if you had a problem, you should've done more to advocate social justice. I personally don't remember you as an active member, so as far as I can see you're just an over-reactive lurker.
Spelling and grammar is a rule here, like Muse stated, but in the past few months the only thing that comes close to bashing someone's ability to write is the old thread about Dying NOT Dieing. Which turned more into something funny than something resembling the 3rd Reich. So if you have proof, I'd like to see it.
But oh well, quit if you like, as I said before, I don't remember you posting anything so good luck elsewhere.

It turned out to be her friend who made the thread "what ur fav book?" or something (which is a repeat). I suppose someone wasn't nice about it and let him have it before deleting the post... We've been PMing each other, so it's all being taken care of.
I want to keep everyone here happy, but I don't want it to turn into Nazi mods and revolting members... xp

Please Muse! I'm a mutt if ever there was one. And I was a blonde for quite a while, and let me tell you, it's overrated. Nope. I'm sheerly capitalist, though I do believe in a government that promotes social programs. I've heard it called a "mixed" government, but I've also heard it called socialist.
Ah, well. Down with Hitler and the rest of the tyrants. I stand behind my decision.
