And since everyone was going on different days, and our trip happened to be scheduled during WASL, we're the only class not going. ):

That's so sad. *sympathetic look*
They couldn't just like change the date so you could go with another class?

WASL is such a dumb useless test, I'm sorry you guys have to go through it. I was able to graduate just before it was put out.
They should reschedule your field trip, its not fair you can't go. sad

Personally I think the WASL should be banned. I don't think it follows that "no child left behind" act now does it? Know what I think would be cool... if we all gathered up and everyone on the guild signs a petition and we send it to the state government! biggrin I dunno how I'd formulate the petition though...

Well, you can not take the WASL... but you have to assemble a portfolio showing that you can do all the stuff that you're tested on during the WASL. And, in my opinion, it's totally not worth the effort sweatdrop

That sucks. I had to take the wasal last year and the class of 08 was the first that had to pass to graduate. The pressure sucked!!!

ThEskimo That sucks. I had to take the wasal last year and the class of 08 was the first that had to pass to graduate. The pressure sucked!!! my class was lucky. I get to graduate in a couple months so I don't need it to pass. I'm so glad for that, but I do feel sorry for the underclassman. I don't think its fair that they have to pass in order to graduate.

I'm in the class of 08 so I had to pass it. Personally I just found it an incredibly large waste of time. But, now that the underclassmen are taking it, that's less class time for me biggrin
