Well, you see... The N64 Animal Crossing is our Gamecube version of Animal Crossing. Nintendo just added a few things to it. Like more items and the whole E-reader thing, along with slight visiual improvement. The thing was that Animal Crossing was the last of the N64 games in Japan so it looked real impressive at that time. I believe they should up the graphics for the Wii version. Just add more detail, but doesn't have to be realistic. Like a full blown tree with each single leaf, but with the recognizable animal crossing tree marks on them. Give the animals fur and what-not. Make the texture of your house look more like wood and bricks and stuff. Make sure the ground isn't completely flat. Give it a sorta real sense where there are lumps or higher spots then complete flatness. Also, this will make the game even better! A camera that you can controll. That isn't fixed to a single angle. So that you can look up and see the stars and moon, or the sun set. And when your inside your house you can decorate your home the way you really want and have all the furniture facing any direction!!! I have lots of ideas on what a PERFECT Animal Crossing would be like. And I have so much and wish Nintendo would do what I think so that everyone could play the greatness.

It wouldn't even be the same game any more.
The "childishness" is what makes Animal Crossing... what it is!
It's like jumping into a big box of Crayola crayons.
Also, the Japanese version of the game is called "Doubutsu no Mori," which does translate to "Animal Forest."
