Within a split second, she went from standing their calmly, if moodily, tail flicking while she worked out teh easiest path to the distant green of the jungle...to snarling loudly out of fright and rearing off her front paws, bringing one crashing down before she over balanced.
A scorpian was squished with a sickening crunch.
Cursing and mildly annoyed, Asherah carefully lept down from her rocky perch to the ground again. She thought it had only pinched her, now she'd calmed down a bit. Her paw didn't feel numb at any rate. Unremorseful for the scorpians' death, she turned to Auron.
"Stupid bug bit me. Sorry for the outburst..." She sighed. Bad day. "We're on the right path at least."

He refrained from making the correction that scorpions stung, not bit, but he did give her a bit of sympathy for the mini-assault she'd received. "I was stung once. My leg felt dead and in pain for the rest of the day after the pain set in." Auron said, passing on what there was to possibly expect from the miniature being's attack.
"We can stop if you start to have problems." he added as they started off again, seeming to show some concern for how she'd handled being stung. Even Auron hadn't felt when he'd gotten his hit, and had only know it had happened because he was watching.
Then he added, "and there's no reason to be sorry about attacking the thing that attacked you first, Asherah." Auron stated, seeming to pass over the apology with this statement.

"I think it did just...pinch me or something. I don't think you feel when they sting you and I felt that one." With another sigh, it was as if her bad mood had worn itself out. This morning had been tiring thus far and for someone who flipped emotions so swiftly painfrightangerhurtupsetmournful was alot. Just walking would seem restful.
"Hopefully we won't need to stop." She kept pace next to him however.

"If you're sure." Auron replied, wondering just how much 'pinch' a small creature such as a scorpion could punch to have gotten the reaction it had. Then again, getting attacked by surprise at all got such reactions easily.
He slowed his pace ever so slightly, if only to take into account that if thre were repercussions to the n** from the arthropod, it probably would have taken a damper on her want to move very quickly.
At least that was his opinion, anyways.

Poor Auron, she mused. Today was one of those days, where her emotions swung about all over the place and she over or under reacted easily. One day she'd learn some self control. Then her friends wouldn't need to exercise such patience.

He was oblivious to the musings that may have been occuring in her mind, or rather -were- occuring in her head. He was uncaring, in a way, about such things. "If you say so." he replied, not really looking over at her to aknowledge that he wasn't speaking from 'la la land', as the case seemed to be sometimes. But really, he mulled over things a lot more than one would be able to give him credit for at times.
In fact, he was trying to decide what sort of 'curse' the poor innocent emotionless ground might have had.
"Then go where?" he asked, knowing quite well that...
No matter where she went, he was going to follow anyways.
