"You're weird, Kiba." Shikamaru sighed, "I'm pretty sure Neji's a guy, but he like's his hair long." He stated boredly, "Why do you like it down anyway? Most people find it a little...Un-Shikamaru." He used his chopsticks to pick up some pork, chewing on it slowly.

Kiba gulped down a large piece of meat. "I dunno..." he said, thinking a bit. "I don't think it looks UN-Shikamaru. I just think it looks good that way." He took a sip of water then reached to put his hood back on. "Now let it down or this goes back on!"

Shikamaru swallowed his food before retallating, "That doesn't really bother me. Put it back on if you want, I'm not letting my hair down." Putting another piece in his mouth, he continued chewing the same pace as before.

Kiba would have pouted if he were feminine. But he wasn't, so he tried his hardest not to. Didn't really work that well, but whatever. "Hmph," he said simply, not even bothering to put his hood back up. "Why are you so dull?"

Kiba threw his head back and made a cross between a growl and a cry of agony. "But that would be so predictable!" he complained, forehead now against the table. Becoming quiet, he opened his eyes and peeked up.

Shikamaru looked at him like Kiba had gone nuts. "What does?" He questioned, still looking at the Inuzuka with some sort of interest.

Kiba sat there for a moment, then felt a warm blush rush across his face. Damn! That could be taken two ways! he mentally scolded himself.

Shikamaru laughed, "Oh." He quickly rubbed his foot against Kiba's leg, having taken it off, still acting as if he'd done nothing. "I guess I could wear it down, if it wasn't so troublesome."

Kiba tensed up as Shikamaru's foot brushed against his leg. His blush grew even more. Dammit! he thought, averting his eyes from those of the other boy. Why am I acting like a little schoolgirl with a crush!?
"Hmph, suit yourself," he mumbled almost incoherently.
