So, I was happily calling pepperige farms to tell them how much I love their Goldfish brand snack crackers. (Their made with real cheese!) So It rang a couple times, and finall I hear a voice, and this is what it said:
"Hello, and thank you for calling pepperidge farm.
If you are having a medical emergency, please press 1.
For anything else, press 2."
Now, I may not be the smartest, but did he say Medical Emergency? Isn;t that what 911 is for? o.O;;

Maybe they thought that if someone was choking over their product or something, and they wanted to contact them, for whatever reason? rofl

But now, this along with a few other thoughts reminds me of Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
First off, suppose they were choking on a delicious Goldfish and dialed the number. Someone picks up after they press "1"
Reciever: "Hello, how may I assist your medical injury?"
Person: "GAALalALaugh!!"
Reciever: "Sir/madam, you wouldn't happen to be joking on one of our products, would you?"
Person: *passes out*
Reciever: *dials 9-1-1 for them, then collects the $25.00 calling fee*
It seems completely redundant to have such a feature. I mean, what would you call it for besides choking, a broken bone of some sort? And even then, why would you call when you are choking?

I miss goldfish. They don't have them here.
I especially liked the pretzel fish.
They had cool bags there. Remember that yoghurt you could buy that changed colour?

I remember those too... but after a while, all those kids yogurt begin to taste horrible... well as your taste buds grow, you begin to notice they taste like... well... crap... with cardboard, and fake flavor.
