Ladies and gentleman of the crew, it's come to my attention that the business of Eragon is beginning to attract a lot of negativity that is being warned and not heeded. I had to remind a new member of this, as I've had to do a few times before.
I don't like Eragon either, Paolini can go to hell for all I care, but this guild ain't the place to demonstrate that feeling.
Muse, I understand I'm probably just PMS'ing over my own life s**t right now, but please, pull some Captain strings, post a warning, I'm just a crew, I don't and won't overstep my authority. If I had it my way the whole thing would be locked and done with and the topic of Eragon and anything to do with it banned from the guild. But, we are a book guild, and Eragon is a book, and a shitty movie... But I am tired of seeing people mindlessly bash it because it's there.
Thank you,
the Demon

Can I delete the thread that Eragon made--the one Demon moved to the Writer's Corner--under terms of redundancy?

I made the judgement call of whether or not to move or delete it.
As far as the thread is concerned, it serves no practical use, we already know we have a place to post original or fan prose and fiction.
I moved it out of an act of diplomatic curtesy, I figure I've been a right stone wall in that Eragon hate thread I figured why give people more ammunition to cause trouble.
I vote to delete.

Well, since Kiyo is...a bit off, and SaberFire has not replied, I will ask again, Muse.
May I please delete that thread? -LD

You don't have to ask, really. That's why I promoted you guys. You're big boys, you can make decisions yourself. wink
I think you are right, however. Delete it.
This Eragon person seems to think the rules do not apply to him. Or perhaps he has failed to read them?

I've little doubt that it's a bit of both. I believe a warning is in order, and then, if necessary, banning. -LD
