Diana tilted her head at that, studying the red male carefully.
"You don't appear to be overweight to me. Could you show me to the mountain, perhaps? Even if i don't start climbing it, I wouldn't mind having a good long look at it."
Smiling brightly, she waited for his answer with palpable anticipation. This was turnign out to be a better than than she had thought possible. A new friend and maybe even an adventure!

Briar blushed lightly and rubbed the back of his neck. "I might not look heavy, but if you tried to carry me while flying, you'd see I'm not that light," he admitted.
He grinned widely at her. "I could show you where the mountain is. I'd be happy to do so."

Diana gave a happy wriggle before standing and grinning back to Briar.
"Wonderful! Lead on, please!"

Briar gladly got up and started leading the way toward the Candy Mountain. "It's a long walk to the mountain," he explained as they went, recalling the last trip he had made there after visiting the Gummy Tree Forest.

Skipping along happily, Diana giggled slightly, "Oh, I don't mind a walk. Good exercise and it's so nice to have someone to talk with!"
She quickly fell into step beside him and hummed softly to herself.

Briar had to smile at that. Exercise was definitely good for him. He could stand to lose a few pounds and become a lighter. And long treks such as the one to Candy Mountain definitely went faster with another to speak with.
His ears perked forward, hearing the soft hum. "What's that you're humming?" he asked Diana.

"Hrm? oh just a tune I heard some time back. I honestly don't kow what it is called. Not even sure if it is a real song."
Diana chuckled and skipped along, occasionally taking to the air in short bursts of flight, hoping to spot the mountain so that she could figure out what the best way to climb it might be.

"It sounds pretty," Briar said, not caring whether it was a real song or not. If Diana hummed it, it was as real as any other song he had heard, according to his logic.
They continued on at a fairly decent pace until the tip of the mountain break the horizon up ahead of them.
