Tsamikayu DreamerSpirit Rinaqa In response to the OP: glad that you're not worried anymore. I definitely worried after the first time I had sex, and I'm on the Pill now so I don't worry much, but I take a pregnancy test once every couple of months to be sure. Probably a good idea if you're having sex. :3 *nods* After a few months elapse, I'm planning on telling my mom that I am sexually active. She's pretty realistic as to her expectations of me, so I'm sure she would treat me like a mature adult when it came to that matter. I'm considering asking my doctor about the pill after I come out to my mother about not being a virgin. Why wait until you 'come out'? Would she forbid you asking about the pill or something? Then again . . . someone I know's mother, a nurse, was rather annoyed when she found her daughter had gotten the pill without mentioning it to her. I think the mother's not a big believer in it, said that it wasn't something to be taken lightly (since it plays silly buggers with your hormones, I guess). I don't think she would have forbid her daughter the pill - most likely would have preferred to be consulted. It's still a taboo for younger girls to be on birth control. the attitude of "you should be married a virgin" sterotype is still quite strong and getting stonger with all this abstinence only s**t education. parents just don't want they're daughters having sex. they see it as something the 'bad slutty girls do' I know hypocritical right? but's it true. Why my own mother went overboard when my doctor had suggested birth control pills to control my extreme hormone fluccuations(sp?) which would leave me with horrid anexity for half the month and depression the rest of the month and in between a period with cramps that could make me faint. and my mother takes BC! (she was a teen mother too and to top it off she isn't married and she's ******** with her boyfriend) rolleyes

When my sister was taking the pill (she isnt anymore 'cause she wants to get pregnant), she was just fine. Me, on the other hand, tried to commit suicide 3 times while on the pill. After I went back for a refill, planned parenthood actualy told me the pill I was on wasnt being made anymore, and they put me on the patch after I told them what had happened. They were actualy very startled that I hadnt told them that I was depressed.

Trite~Elegy PhaedraMcSpiffy Airbubble? Does this happen often? Is it painful? How uncomfortable is it? How do you prevent it or get rid of it? are you asking me confused
Yes it happens often, air can be trapped in the v****a just from doing sports or masturbation, not just sex. It isn't painful but it might be uncomfortable and there is nothing you can do to prevent it, the body naturally gets rid of it (by pushing it out) or if you move around the air will come out itself, sometimes it makes a noise and that is what people call a 'queef'I was just asking in general. I'm probably going to start having sex soon, and I want to be as informed as possible. *laughs* I learned the word "queef" from South Park (DON'T JUDGE MEEEE! emo ) and I read a blurb (there's another funny word!) about it in Cosmo. It doesn't sound that bad. Just embarrassing. Never experienced it, though.

I have experienced it, and it is quite embarasing. xd I have learned to laugh when it happens, and my boyfriend doesnt care. I noticed that I tend to get more air up there if my bofriend is going fast, or from alot of sex in a short period of time.

It just feels weird, like tickilish weird, the first time it happened to me I was all "WTF?!" xd

S. Shark It could've been from your own... er, lubrication, if you know what I mean. Guys aren't the only ones who produce liquid substances during sex. The sex might've caused it to form a bubble. (Or it could've been the condoms lubrication--just throwing out an idea.)
But if you feel insecure about it, best to get a morning after pill. Could be nothing to worry about, but if it'll put your mind at ease...
EDIT You're able to get the pill? Good! Hope you're able to get it without a hitch (with the way s**t is nowadays with pharmacists refusing to fill perscriptions...) I got myself some Plan B recently and actually had zero problem with it. The woman working the pharmacy didn't even ask for my ID. Walgreens for the win! After this incident though, I'm definitely going back on BC. Just have to wait til the end of the month for my pap smear appointment. I had an appointment for last week and then the jerks bumped me to the end of the month. stressed I guess I can't complain too much about it though. It's a free pap and I'm pretty sure that my BC will be free as well. (Win!)

I have to say that this was a very interesting conversation. I have never actually had to tell my parents that I have sex. I moved across country with him and we lived together for a couple months before that so my parents pretty much assume and don't really ask. For some reason my parents were always really open about any question we had but we just don't talk about sex now that I'm old enough to make my own choices. My mom was never on the 'wait until marriage' kick. She was always more realistic than that. She just always emphasized that it was my decision and that there were consequences but that I should wait until I felt ready. Worked for me!! It's funny though, my mom has never mentioned anything and then my boyfriend's mom sat him down one time and was like, 'you know, baby's cost money' lol. That was her way of starting the conversation about if we were using protection and that entire conversation lol.
I'm very glad that plan B was available when needed and wasn't too much of a hassle to get.

I don't think she would have forbid her daughter the pill - most likely would have preferred to be consulted. I'm sure that she would be cool with me being on the pill, but I'm waiting until my next doctors appointment so I can ask about a prescription. The reason I'm waiting is because I don't think I could afford the perscription on my own, plus once I'm out to my mother about the situation I can start getting checked for STD's and such a few times per year. I'm paranoid about STD's, and would be sure to use a condom even with the pill, but it's still good to get checked out. Better safe than sorry. The only reason I'm waiting before telling my mother is so that enough time will have elapsed between the incident and when I tell her that she will not be able to pinpoint any specific times when it may have happened. I am going to tell her about the plan B incident, so she'll know why all my christmas money magically disappeared (she's been asking me about where it all went... I spent $45 on the pills, and stashed another $45 away as an emergency fund...). I may talk to her about it in mid-Febuary, hopefully no later than mid-March. As for how everything is going now, the plan B tablets made me kind of crazy for about 16 hours after I took them, but overall it wasn't that bad. I was just very hyper and kind of out of it.
