Where I'm from pretty much everybody listens to either classic rock, hip hop, metal, or country. It'd be rare to find someone who listened to say, techno, or Electronica.

But anyway, how come you didn't mention Kiss? Or Led Zeppelin? My baby brother would be very dissapointed.

I love AC/DC but it has to be the old AC/DC with Bon Scott, cant get into the Brian Johnson era am afraid. I love Def Leppard as well!! mrgreen

Skid Row is not classic rock, they are Glam/Power Metal, and Def Leppard is hair metal.

I was hoping for Led Zeppelin, Bad Company or Lynyrd Skynyrd to be listed here.

I can't say much about any of them because I personally haven't really listened to them without being forced to. What I was forced to listen to was Def Leppard, they're pretty good.

I'm surprised that no one's mentioned ZZ Top yet, and in regards to the poll, IMHO Slaughter was better than Warrant (if only because the leader singer was the only brunette I recall from the hair band era)

You forgot about Toto, I listen to Rosanna every day, I'm hooked.

And what about Meat Loaf? There is nothing like Bat Outta Hell, every song on that album is absolutely fantastic. Paradise by the Dashboard Light is perfection.
