Lillith watched him leave, slamming the door after him. Unfortunately, the force in which she had excerted rendered the door cracked and soon, shards of glass began falling onto the pavement. The wind did not let up however. Realising the need to cover the hole in the door rather urgently, she ran to the back of the shop, dragging the small Eillas with her. "Come on!" she yelled, "I need to find something to board that door up before I lose all my," yet before she had a chance to finish her sentence, the papers under the expensive, oriental paper-weight given to her by her late mother, fell off the side with a sickening crash, leaving her sketches and perliminary works to float aimlessly out the door and into the street. Lillith flew out the door, watching them sail away, her hands to her face, "Oh no!" she groaned, "That was all the sketches for the commissions due next week!"

Mr. Fern had just stepped back out of the coffie shop and sat in a park bench opposite lady Lillith shop when he realised the door attached to her shop was missing something. The window had evidently smashed and thought in suppressed amusement that obviously the weather had not agreed with Miss Lillith either as it was clear some of her artwork had blown right out from under her very own nose. Smiling feeling slightly happier, Mr Fern sat and watched eagerly the shop front for further movement.

Lillith watched as her beloved sketches floated away, no doubt never to be seen again. If this day could get any worse, she reflected, this would be the perfect time for it to occur. She stared about her shop through the broken glass, proceeding to gather some shards from the pavement in a dejected manner. First she had lost what seemed to be a very interesting customer, and now her shop was in ruins... what was worse was the fact her hair was a mess, tangled with leaves and debree of the wind.
She had lost her next meal ticket, her sketches and her door.

Standing up from his seat Mr. Fern collected himself. He walked across the park towards the rather helpless looking figure on the ground that was picking up shards of glass from the ground. Smiling, Mr. Fern offered his hand to the young and frustrated lady. "Seeing as we've both gotten off on the wrong foot let me re-introduce myself. I am Mr. Fern, and you must be miss Lillith otherwise I dare say you wouldn't of given me that icy look before that was capable of wilting flowers.

Lillith shyly peered at the offered hand, slowly moving her gaze upwards. For a few brief moments she blicked, before taking it with the hand free of glass. She brushed herself down a bit, trying hard to straighten her hair yet to no avail. It was a aparant she was doomed to lose this war with the strong autumn wind. "I'm Miss, Lillith I won't deny that. So," she stared at him bodly, "how may help you Mr. fern?"
