I don't think it is necessary to swear x.x
the job abbreviations are very intuative;
whm = white mage, brd = bard, nin = ninja, war = warrior etc. I'm sure you can figure most of them out yourself
HNM are monsters you fight at endgame (when you reach lvl75ish)
LFP means Looking for Party.
HNM means Huge Notorious Monster
LFG means Looking for Group, basically the same thing as lfp.
LS means Linkshell
WW means Woodworking
BCNM means Burning Circle Notorious Monster
KSNM means Kindred Seal Notorious Monster(That's what I've been told)
and so fourth.
