Lucien's Journal Entry 3 - July 11
A few months ago, Xerxes completely ran out of money and had to move back in with his parents in another state. He couldn't bring me, I didn't understand, so he left me in the city, where he said I could hide and forage for food and shelter. I thought at the time he was doing me a favor, but I couldn't see how wrong his was. Unlike the silly, childish undera I was when Xerxes left, I've become more mature, more confident, more street wise. I had to be, I lived in alleyways for several months, hiding from people and the daylight.
That's when I met Allie. I don't know if I could have asked for a better companion to save me from the streets. She's never been afraid of me. She just takes everything in her stride and drifts through life like the vapors from a stick of incense. Nothing stops her, but nothing irritates her either. Her soft voice and motherly demeanor never leave me to question her motives. She is my friend and my caretaker. Ah, Allie. What can I ever do to repay you?
