Rin couldn't believe Max would do that...oh well. Seeing another girl running towards the goal Rin got in front of her and took the ball and shot it to another kid on their team who was waiting eagerly. He caught it and headed for the goal.

((Uh...Arani, Alex, and Keiko are on the same team, right? That's what it says in my story notes, anyway, based on who have the same color sticks...))
Keiko tightened her grip on the plastic stick. One of the players on the yellow team was headed her way - and he had the ball!
Oh, boy... The brunette steadied her stance, ready to knock the ball away when it came. Suddenly, the ball was just a blur headed towards the goal... and Keiko's head.
"Uh-oh!" Badly surprised, the brunette dropped her stick and held her hands, palms outward, in front of her face. There was an unexpected thmp!, which made her open her eyes.
She'd caught the ball?! Keiko blinked once, twice, and then set it on the ground. She'd watched a bit of hockey, and knew that only the goalies were allowed to touch the ball with their hands; it was also their job to set the ball or puck back into play when a goal was stopped.
Keiko quickly took aim - something she actually good at - and passed the ball to the girl who'd taken the opening shot at the ball.
((Yes, Keiko volunteered for goalie, remember? 3nodding ))

Arani, now father across the feild than she'd started, took the ball and smirked slightly. She only saw Kai and the opposing goalie between her and the first score. Since Kai was right handed, Arani took the ball to his left hoping he'd find it more difficult to block her path.

Kai's eyes widened as he noticed Arani charging toward him. Crap he thought dully as he changed his grip so his hockey stick could comfortably reach out to his left.
He stepped sideways to block the oncoming girl's path, confident that if it came to it he could always rugby tackle her and pretend it was an accident.
Alex tried to edge away from the action, looking for a quiet corner where he could sit and hide from the game and impending injury.
Joycelyn noticed the brunette and scowled. It was only the first lesson, he hardly had an excuse to be slacking off.
Alex noticed her scowl and looked around for something plausible he could be doing. He noticed Arani powering down the pitch and jogged to run level with her as if he wanted her to pass the ball.
Hopefully she'll just steamroller that guy... Kai? He half thought and half prayed to whatever deity was listening.

It was hard to determine what would happen. Would Arani score or would Kai block? Either way she wanted to be down there to help out. Not giving Alex a chance she blocked his way and covered Kai's right side so he could focus on the left entirely.

Max seemed distant for the fractions of seconds after Arani had moved past him with the ball. He looked back at her right after that, trying to think of a way to work more in a defensive mode rather than an offensive one; unfortunately, the game seemed to have moved rather quickly in that space of time.
The blond looked over at Alex and the teacher scowling at him; really, if that girl May was here she'd probably regret telling him P.E. wasn't that bad. Heck, Max himself was disliking it already and the class had just started.
If he could, he would have stood there the rest of the game, wishing for the earth to swallow him until it was over just so he wouldn't have to hear the teacher, but since he couldn't to that he just slowly moved back in a futile attempt to follow Arani.

Arani smirked when she saw Kai reach out to his left side. She quickly skidded and slowed down to the point where she could try and shoot through Kai's legs at the seemingly out-of-it goalkeeper.

((Sorry, just finished exam week. Brain is dead and so crap post to rejoin.))
Kai smirked and stepped forward, moving to where he could reach the ball. He reached out and tried to bat the ball away from Arani and hopefully towards another member of his team.

((Ah, it's nohing special, I drew that quickly. @_@ And I signed it with my next username. Ha ha.))
((Oh, I'm just leaving this OOC post as a reminder that I'm going to have an exam in about an hour and ten minutes from now, explaining why I've been studying more lately and I'll have another one on Wednesday.))

((Done with school, scary grades, I'm passing. Now I return with a sad, sad post.))
Max might have not been trying hard to play, but he was still paying attention to where the ball was heading, just in case he had to catch it, no objections. He thought they were done for when Arani tried shooting the ball, but was a bit more relieved when she saw the ball heading forward in a more random direction. His direction. Oh no, not me! He shouted in his mind as he moved to try and catch it and pass it to another teammate.
((MMyeah, sorry for the sucky post. My brain is dead.))
