I would read a second season if there was one, though if it's true they're really milking the fandom for all they can....
I don't see what the problem would be with the main character being a girl...
Although actually, if they're going to make a second season, they should include Taro, from the pilot chapter! (I read the pilot chapter before the rest of the series, so I got slightly attatched to the boy...)
But I wouldn't complain if the main character's a girl. If she's interesting, then what's the problem?
