And yes, I do love Balthier. He's actually my second favorite character in the game, next to Fran. I love the pair of them together, they're so great.

I found him to be a pretty cool character. His story made sense and how he even came into play with the story-line fits in well. Although i'd have to say that even though Balthier only looked cool wielding only rifles, he was well balanced with all of the weapon classes when I played with him, same with Fran.

Yeah, I move him away from guns pretty early, actually. I get him on axes and hammers, because I think axes and hammers are badass. XD
I don't really keep anyone on any particular weapon class. I do keep Fran on bows, though. *shrug*

he is my favorite character in that game seeing as how i HATED the main characters vaan and asche-is that how you spell her name-

Looks like you're mixing up Ashe and Basch, my friend. Regardless, I understand where you're coming from. Balthier is the only character I care enough about to root for. The rest are as apparitions - they're there, but you barely notice them.
