There is never a dull moment for Kairi as she bounds out of the cabin in search of her favorite person (well one of them): Sora! Just where could he be? Her ears wriggle over her head as her violet eyes sweep eagerly around the outside of the cabin in search of him. He was probably off on another one of his adventures, leaving her behind in all her loneliness! As she is pondering this she is still walking and climbs up onto a fallen tree to sit; this pick up in height allows her to see a little more around the mountain and that she uses to her advantage.
Clearing her throat she lets out a loud, "SORA!" It echoes down along the mountain, sending nearby birds fluttering up into the sky.
"Come on Sora! Where are you? You promised we could do things today!" She is still shouting up at the top of her lungs so that no matter where he is, he can hear her (hopefully).

A swish of birds and a familar voice calling his name drew Sora out of his haze. He'd been sitting and watching the sky, lost in thoughts of different places and wonder of what could be there.
"Kairi?" the awkward Kitsu jumped to his feet, calling loudly back to his friend and jolting into a hurried pace to meet up with her.
It was a gorgeous day on the mountainside as he pushed himself up along a worn path. The sun was bright, and a soft breeze ruffled his hair. Rounding a corner he could see the redhead off in the distance.
He slowed his pace, padding up along behind her, "Sorry Kairi!" there it was, that clumsy smile of his, "Didn't mean to keep you waiting."

"There you are!" she states, stomping a forepaw down on the wood creating a faint thudding sound and sending some minor pain through her. She winces and lifts it up to nuzzle it afterwards before turning her attention back on that silly boy.
"Where were you? Off having one of your adventures I bet?" she teases but giggles afterwards, hopping down off the log to walk up to him.
Her tails sway as she tilts her head back a bit so that she may get a better look at him. "Well?"

His smile fades for a moment as the wince crosses over Kairi's face. He made motion to move forward, but as she hopped down and continued to speak, he simply gave way to it being nothing.
"Oh, well... no." He felt his tails droop sheepishly behind him, dragging in the dirt.
"I was just thinking actually. About this place. You know. Why we're here." He looked away and up towards the sky. "Guess I lost track of time. Heh." he shook his head then looked back to Kairi, his grin practically glowing over his face.
"But that doesn't matter, what do you want to do? I mean, I did promise we'd do something and since I made you wait, you can pick anything you'd like."
