I'll also say both... I just forced my brother to read Twilight and he likes it so far...

I think girls are more likely to read it. But that doesn't mean boys can't enjoy it.

i always thought of them as more of for girls, because they've very much about romance and that sort of thing. i'm not saying that boys wouldn't enjoy them because one of my guy friends has read them; but i think the majority of guys wouldn't really care for them.

I'm a guy and I finished Twilight and New Moon in one day apiece. I simply couldn't put them down and now they are both like my favorite books that I've ever read! They are just so flipping amazing!! Now, I'm not exactly a macho guy, but I'm not a meek, scrawny little dude either. My girlfriend calls me a hopeless romantic, so maybe that's why I like these books, but good God how can anyone not!?

Well, I think that girls would be opted to like it, since it's all romantic and stuff, but guys could probably enjoy it too.. As I always say, there's a hopeless romantic inside all of us. =3

[ <33 ] Agreed! *nods* My boyfriend read the books and he really enjoyed them. It all depends on taste, but there definitely is a hopeless romantic in all of us! *woot woot*

I think it's more of a girl book, with the romance and the story being told from a girl's perspective. But I guess that guys could like them too, if that's what they're into.

[ <33 ] Tell me about it. My fiance cried when we watched The Lake House...and I fell asleep. He also cried during A Walk To Remember and Harry Potter 4 (when Cedric died.) He likeys Twilight too, but he's not a big reader.

Xio_Marie The book dosn't have to do anything with the gender of the reader. just because girls are more romantic and ussually read about romance dosn't it make it a "girls book" there are some romantic boys too that like this type of book. you're a guy speaking in self defense, aren't you?
