Ukabe was not a happy puppy, he just sniffled his nose and curled up tight against his mommy. He loved her so much, but his leg still stung a bit. He yawned and squeaked at the same time, smiled and rest his head on her forelegs. Perhaps a nice little nap would do him some good. After all, his mommy was here, and it was sunny out and warm.

Amaterasu gave her pup an affectionate lick. His little yawn was so adorable! She nuzzled the pup gently and curled around him. His pure white coat was seamless against her own; she was amazed that they could be so similar, despite the fact that he was her son.

If he wanted to nap, she would be more than happy to nap with him.

Ukabe yawned again, another squeak coming from his maw. He settled himself next to his mommy, snuggling against her warm fur. He smiled, he loved his mom so much, times like this he wished would never end. It was just a perfect time, perfect, nothing else could make it more worth while he believed.

It was just perfect.

Amaterasu lay her head across her paws, muzzle off to the side that her son was laying on. She took a deep breath, taking in all of the smells... The smell of her son, and the savannah. Of prey beasts and predators alike, and the distant smell of water. It wasn't long before sleep grabbed her as well, and she was off to dreamland in the warm sun.
