The clone diving through that precious window would be shot upwards by the spikes rising below him. Releasing the sabers he'd fade completely as the energy would return to the creator. Evnal had reformed from the two clones and lunge backwards using the force, a considerable distance to avoid the spikes moving quickly towards him. The pair of sabers would arc in the upward trip and bank rather hard in the air streaming back to his open palms. He'd reattach the two ends making it a staff and hold it in his left hand.

The scowl upon his face and evil twinkle within his eyes would seemingly deepen now with frustration. Rage and anger driven simply from the so far failure of his attempts to destroy his enemy. Its powered him, his mind drew more and more from the dark side of the force to aid him, in order to obliterate his adversary. To most the aura about a force user is invisible, and only in times of maximum drawing of the users force energy can it be seen. To him it would appear a slight, thin field of highly concentrated force energy, starting at the ground beneath his feet. Slowly it would cascade up his body in waves and ripples as though it were a liquidous black fire. This enhance ability is only achieved in the heat of battle such as this one.

Vidicus smirked, though his opponent had bought himself time, he'd truly cealed his own fate. The planned formulated so quickly it could only have been an instinctual thought, and thus his body would act. His right hand would raise forth and point forwards, the motion fluid and seemingly unnatural fast. The aura about his body could now been seen about the spike surrounding his opponent. As his opponent's energy faded, he'd extend his perception forth to now take control of them through telekinesis. They'd rise slightly out of the ground and pause for an instant. A loud sound would be heard like a rock being through into a glass house, and the effect of high force energy concentration caused the spikes to shatter like glass, into thousands of jagged pieces of rock and terra. It now surrounded him opponent entirely, and in the burst of the rocks shattering it would spread to above him as well.

He'd close his fist, and all of these pieces would beam down mercilessly upon his opponent, at unimaginable speeds. Coming from all sides he didnt see his opponent being able to avoid them all.

Eldin's right hand returned to the handle of his sword as the regeneration of his neck skin was complete. Since the lightsaber automatically cauterized any wound it inflicted he was in no danger of losing blood if he hadn't restored it, but it's a bit unnerving to imagine performing highly athletic movements with a large hole in a part of one the body's most important locations. Regardless, Eldin's body was now restored and, more importantly, his will was as well. This man did not come after him with the spirit of honour. Though his weapon was one of incredible destructive power it alone did not condemn him in the Channeler's mind, who always gave the benefit of the doubt. No, it was the incredible relentless effort to kill him that finally forced Eldin to take this battle seriously. He couldn't afford to have fun.

The intensifying aura around Marxus was detected by caida even though Eldin was unaware it had now become visible to the naked eye. He was beginning to suspect that his enemy would try nothing but deathblows for the entire round. A round which had become a fight for his own survival.

'Who knows how many people he's killed or how many he could kill after this? If I can stop him here then I have no choice but to try.'

This thought ended as Desura began to simply turn the spikes into dust and let them collapse to the earth so that the fight could continue, only to feel tendrils of the Force bent to Evnal's will begin to weave themselves around his defensive structure. Whatever his opponent was doing, Eldin didn't like the idea of letting it happen and proceeded as planned. The spikes were lifted into the air as Eldin sent out another wave of earth spirit from his soul, moments before they shattered into deadly pieces. The processed continued farther down from there as the pieces were ripped apart on a smaller scale, turning them to a mass of dirt in the air. Regardless of this change in form, Eldin was still subject to an implosion of the mass into his being, assuming that the Sith continued the attack as planned.

Eldin did what he could to fortify his body form the inside, but it was still a solid barrage from all sides. His body rocked from the total impact once but kept to its feet as the debris settled to the earth afterwards. The view between them now clear, Eldin's soft amber irises gazed towards Evnal once again. His longsword was gripped firmly as he prepared for a struggle. Though the expression was hidden behind the red scarf that covered the man's face below his eyes, Eldin's mouth was holding a solid look of concentration.

There would be no more room for mistakes. He couldn't let his opponent control the entire match as he had done so thus far.

Eldin's sword moved behind him and then came down before him in one blurred motion. It amplified a release of wind energy that created a tall blade of air, slicing a visible gash across the sand towards its target. Eldin didn't know what his opponent- No. He didn't know what his enemy was capable of. The vagabond prayed to his Creator that he wouldn't have to learn the hard way.

Vidicus would lean forward as though preparing to burst into a run as the blade comes towards him. Drawing force from throughout his body he'd gather it directly in front of him and push forward as the blade would hit. As though reflected it would now come charging back at his opponent with greater speed. The moment contact was made visually the energy making up his aura would split, as would his body. Two clones once more strafing outwards and fowards towards his opponent. One carried the full saber staff, the other simply ran seemingly empty handed. Both in the standard low balanced ninja run he'd shown earlier, but with much greater speed. Closing quickly on their target, they'd be nearing shortly after the air blade, the two preparing seemingly to attack almost immediately.

As the air blade would connect, a single instant was allowed for a reaction of some sort and then their attack would commense. Using a physical personification of force energy in a frontal attack, the empty handed one would unleash a single electical shock which would disorient his opponent and paralyze him momentarily as well as bringing about intense pain and agony to the physical body and mind. The plan was that while subdued by this attack, the stealth and grace of the clone with the blade would find him off guard and thus open for attack. Releasing concentrated force energy upon the blade enriched the edge, to sever even energy barriers. Slicing strong, he'd aim a horizontal slash at his head itself aiming to remove the top half completely.

A reflect. Eldin had been expecting either a dodge or straight block, but a reflect wasn't too far off from a block. Not enough to alter his planned reaction, anyway. The energy propelling the wind physical forward wasn't some unleashed force, it was a piece of Eldin's own soul. Through caida he was still connected to it.

After the wind was bounced it spilt into two and curved apart, intending to loop back around for a surprise attack, more to keep forcing his opponent out of control more than anything else. A few cuts would be nice too, though.

In the end the wind didn't even have to loop all the way. Eldin's caida sensed the famillair sensation of the cloning technique as it was performed. The wind's turn was cut shorter by result and would reach their targets even faster than anticipated, enhanced even more if the clones were going to be moving forward themselves at such high speed. Their maximum allowed reaction time would theoretically be as low as it could get in this particular situation if that variable was true, barring them running even faster of course.

While his wind blades made their counter-attack Eldin crossed his sword in front of him with the flat side facing outward, his right hand holding the hilt and his left palm pressed near the end of the blade. the stance was actually meaningless for what he was going to do but it would make his body ready to move if his opponent surprised him again. The Channeler's soul channeled more energy through his weapon, of two differing varieties thsi time, and spread the enhanced forces out into the air roughly one third of the distance between himself and Darth Vidicus while "they" did whatever they would in reaction to his returning attack. Of course they were welcome to carry through with their original intents if they parried the quick counter without any trouble whatsoever, though that would be sort of disheartening.

The one to the left weilding the blade would dive out of the way, rolling to farther to his opponent's left to avoid it and let it pass him. The clone however wouldnt, the blade would simply pass through him and he'd disappear. "Corrupt." The real Vidicus would murmur this as the air blade passed through his counter part. Normally this was used on people to distort energy signatures and destroy the synthesis of energy tranference thus corrupt his opponents energy all together. Using it on the blade which as an extension of Eldin, would not only corrupt the blade itselt but Eldin at his very soul. The ties between his soul and the energy would be exploited to induce a rather large amount of force energy into his soul through this small window of oppurtunity. After passing through the clone the tether binding this particular energy to Eldin's soul became visible as a translucent line of energy. It would immediately turn black as corruption took place and begin working on his body and soul itself working to destroy both.

The real vidicus would simply stand now and watch these events, the second blade he'd avoided would probably lose its connection to his and dissapate due to the corruption spell.
