Not exactly a 'New' writer, but definatly a powerful style. Firstoff, I would like to inform you that the majority of my fantasy novels are intrigue-related. Having told you this I will say she is in my top 3 of 50. Up there with Hobb and Martin, (Who is by far the Greatest writer of all time!), she makes a world of such depth and power, I finished the 5 books she had out within a week, and I bought them all individually upon completion. Very good read, look her up on amazon for more info...

I've read the demon child trilogy about the Harshini, and I liked it alot.. She has quite a nice style, and the books aren't too overdone with tiny unimportant details, which i find can happen alot these days pulling you away from the important parts of the storey. I'm a fan, as it's great when it's not all happy endings.
