I love Mokona too. I even found cute MKR keychains that I still have of Mokona, Umi, Fuu and Hikaru. I was disappointed that there were not any Princesses Emeraude or Zagato keychains though. crying

The only other character I like as much as Princess Emeraude would be Suu, but her hair is so very short...and I like Emeraude better. They are similar but different... sweatdrop

I love MKR.
I really liked the love triangle in the end of the manga. ^^
But I have yet to see the anime.I plan to though! =D

Magic Knight Rayearth isn't my favorite CLAMP manga at the moment, but it's one of my old obsessions so I can never stop liking it, I guess. It's my first CLAMP manga. I first got into it (after seeing an MKR wallpaper XD) when I was around 11 or something. I didn't actually read the manga until many years later. It didn't only introduce me to CLAMP but also to the world of anime and manga. I did watch some anime before then, like Pokemon and Digimon, but I wasn't exactly crazy for the genre. lol, okay, I'll stop blabbing.
It's funny how I was so crazy for MKR when I never read the manga in entirety until last summer. (Never watched the anime, either.) My fandom was based entirely on fansites, lol...
Anyway, my favorite character is Umi (which is also my nickname.) I also loved the vocal tracks from the anime a while back. The Umi and Fuu songs were awesome XD My Gaia username (Endless-Labyrinth) is based off a song called Mugen no Labyrinth on the second songbook. XD
lol, yes, that concludes my rant.

Stella_Starwind crying Honestly I have only seen like the frist three or frour episodes of the anime series and not much else. I have heard people say that the manga is better and the ending is great (though I can't tell if they were talking about the first season or second. but either way it has a very big twist to it..from what I heard) sweatdrop I really need to get better on reading CLAMP stuff. I have read a bit of there things but most of it I have only seen or read the very first things on it. What I need is to collect the small three book or one book seires and then move on to getting the biger things later. Media Blasters just realeased the whole series of MKR in a colletors set called World of Magic Knight Rayearth for around 30 bux. As far as the anime goes better or not, the plot stays the same as the manga for the first 10 episodes but then some drastic changes appear. Thats all I am saying.

I first bought the anime on a whim. I'm glad I did too! I love the series. I was reading the manga in Tokyopop and I loved it...then they stopped selling the mag at the store ;-;
I really want to get the entire manga series. I've seen the series in english not Japanese YET. I did buy one in Japanese and the subtitles were like too fast @_@ so I took in half of the episode.

The manga series has been re-released in Tokyopop boxsetts with an artbook. 1st and 2nd pars are 30 each, or the singles for 10. If you get the box, you get an artbook. I still need to get the 1st one. Tokyopop sells it online. Or Rightstuf. Yea, subtitles are tricky. The pause button helps.

I think I prefer the manga over the anime. Actually, I like manga more than anime anyway...But I did like the series either way.

hahaha, anyways..
I finished the series and I liked the first and second season, but deteseted the OVa, they changed everything! It didn't make sense! I was very angry/ disapointed! scream
But I love the rest of the season! It's adorable. I wish Umi liked Ascot.
Poor Ascot...

I liked Lantis and Ferio.
I wanna read the manga now! xd

first off this is a supremely awesome story!!! i love the manga heart heart heart
i liked how in the anime we got more depth with the invading countries (autozam, chizata, and fahren) but i really liked the umiXascot romance in the manga while i though the umiXclef stuff was really awkward... also the ending of the anime threw me a bit so i liked the manga ending better. i liked nova though! that part was clever!!! blaugh
I love hikaru, lantis, and eagle!!! they are all so awesome!!! heart
