Funny little people. Vampires do exist, just not the Anne Rice kind. Well not all of them are. Most of them are pretty normal, they just drink human blood, but only with consent. Then there are the psyvamps who just sap energy, again usually withe the consent of the donor.
You people seem to forget that all myths were based on legends and all legends are based on truth, it just gets exaggerated throughout time.

Vampires are interesting. There are vampires technically. Just not the rise from the dead kind or be bitten and be forced to become one. Tuberclosis would make people cough up blood during the night and make them look pale when they woke up. Usually there was blood around the mouth. It was contagious, so people usually burned the corpses of the 'vampire'. But that was in the 17-1800s I think.
There are vampires though, like Asetkat66613 said.

Vampires are sexy. Of course the real vampires are not cool at all. Yes there are real vampires. They feed off of others energy and can cause some seriouse damage to those around them. I know I dated one.

I do like vampires, but I really do hate all of the romanticized, fantasy crap about them.
The best vampires, IMO, are the ones fashioned from Vampire: the Masquerade, because it treats them like -real- creatures, not the dark, beautiful, sexual and whatever beings most treat them as.
