My sister's friend Keenan calls Castleton College 'university' rofl ... Was Keenan born in the United States?  Yes, he's from New Hampshire ... Mmm
How much exposure has he had to European influences? Are his parents from the US? There are lots of things related to a person's upbringing. :B

 @Dukes: Umm... he hasn't left the US form what I know of, and his parents were both born in the US. I've heard the term used almost as much as 'college' un here in the north-east, even though college is still the dominant word. They're pretty much used interchangeably

Let's see, this year, I'm a junior(11th grade). I have: AP Physics-Honors ISICS-You help a techer grade stuff, its fun, because I have our drama teacher. Yay! French III-Honors Pre-Calc-Honors American Studies English-Honors (It's like English III, but with the History connected with it the next period and we do Model UN stuff with our other campus) American Studies History AP-Honors
And next year (hopefully): Intro To Theatre Literature of the Theatre Calculus AP-Honors AP Chem-Honors English IV Government Consumer Ed Global Issues College Comp. Other Stuff?

system malfunction  @Dukes: Umm... he hasn't left the US form what I know of, and his parents were both born in the US. I've heard the term used almost as much as 'college' un here in the north-east, even though college is still the dominant word. They're pretty much used interchangeably ... If you're in Cow Hampshire I'm just one state down from you, and nobody I've ever met uses University.
