I just can't belive John Kerry conceded!!! I've gone from totally supporting that man, to regreting I ever believed in him. John Edwards (his vice pres. candidate) had just said the night before, "We'll stick with this to the end." and he goes on hte next morning and CONCEDES!

ARG....!!! rolleyes

He just went on to prove all those ads about him being a flipflopper and not fit to lead this country RIGHT! I'm never believing in that man again, he let so many ppl down. I would have been OK with him if he'd at least stuck with it till the end. And then he's reported to not want to divide this country any more with another ordeal like in 2000. I've got news for him, this country is allready VERY divided, he should go back to his speeches and see that...

Sorry guys I just felt that this was one of the only places I could vent that. I feel VERY let down by John Kerry. crying

Same here man, same here... I sometimes feel that John Kerry was picked (for us) so that no matter what the people wanted, we would continue this war that should have never started.

To the people in the world not in America I would like to say this. "We are not all drunkin, fat, cowboys, with 7 shotguns, and 4 hummers, who beat their wifes. (ehhh... even if SOME are sweatdrop ... Less then half of us just want world peace, to pay back the HUGE debt that we have with just about everyone around the world, and to invent a new reusable source (hopefully enviroment freindly) to run our cars and machines, also to help fix the O zone. Sigh, but as you see the majority of us just don't care. Thats why I love Gaia online, because I can talk about peace with just about anyone around the world!!!"

Heh, don't expect to have an efficient renewable energy source to be developed whilst Bush is in office. He could care less about the enviroment.

While I feel betrayed by John Kerry conceding the election before all the votes were in and before charges of electoral fraud were investigated, I look at this time in our history as a time for me to renew my commitment to social activism. I have been complacent for too long, as have most people. If anything, hopefully this election will wake people up and encourage them to resist the tyranny of government.
I did not swear loyalty to any government; I just happened to be born here. Therefore I consider this government, especially the current administation, to be a hostile occupying power.
Rise up! Resist the occupation!

Kerry conceded because he lost...what do you want from the man? Forcing a recount would simply make democrats look like whiny panzies.

We'll just have to deal with the douche in office, for the time being. Hopefully he won't get us all wasted before the next term is over.

While I don't like the man, or his policies, I respect him as commander in chief. He is my president. Why? Because I voted. As much as Kerry would be president of us all if he had won, so is Bush, as much as it perturbs me.

Bottom line is, as Americans, we have to take the hand we're dealt and see what we can do with it. Let's make the best of it we can. Fight for the cause, live life, and see if we can't make a difference, eh?

EDIT: HOLY CRAP! I'M WAY BEHIND THE THREAD. Looks like I'm a necromancer, now. gonk That's what I get for paying no attention. sweatdrop

No, your not. You made a very good new point and proved it. I just don't know how we can use the cards that were dealt in a good way.

Yes, I've noticed this guild seems to move like quite the snail... xp I figure, all we can do to really change anything is to get degrees and do it from the top. It'll take a while, but that's the only way to create a lasting difference. I'm hoping to get into the EPA after college.
