The Bible says in Hebrew: Shema Yisrael Adonai Elohanu Adonai Echad.... Hear O Israel the LORD your G-d the LORD He is One.

That means there is but one G-d. The LORD Himself even says that He is the Only G-d:

for you shall worship no other g-d, for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous G-d. Exodus 34:14

"You are My witnesses," says the LORD,
"And My servant whom I have chosen,
That you may know and believe Me,
And understand that I am He.
Before Me there was no G-d formed,
Nor shall there be after Me. Isaiah 43:10

"Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel,
And his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts:
'I am the First and I am the Last;
Besides Me there is no G-d. Isaiah 44:6

Good use of the Hebrew. Another translation of that text in Deuteronomy which is widely accepted and enhances this idea is "Hear oh Israel, the Lord your God, the Lord ALONE.

I only beleive in one GOD
JESUS is the way the truth and the life and by him is the only way we can get saved. 3nodding So why worship other gods? No other gods can give u the gift of salvation, only God can. And theres only one way to get to heaven.

That's great for you, but it's hardly an argument against worshiping other gods. After all, all religions say they're the "only way" to get to wherever it is you're trying to get to.

Anyway. I'm sure no one really cares, but I firmly believe in all gods, but worship none. It seems to me that any being or concept that can so greatly affect a person that it helps determine their actions and emotions must be real, if only to them, and, frankly, that's good enough for me.

I'll...stop talking now. Arguing religion is useless anyway. No concrete proof for or against, based on faith and all that. It always ends in a headache.

no it means you can worship NO other gods. they are not gods, but idols. cuz there is only one true god.
