hi 4laugh ,
well i want to know whats about your "design secrets".
i was reading a tutorial on DA in the last days, a friend uploaded it, and there was a person which made a comment like "why do you tell all these people your technique. thats stupid!". aww... i cant understand. its a tutorial and a tutorial isnt a good one if the description is full with half-informations about a technique.
or do you see it in other way? is it good to teach other people how it works or should everybody they "nooo, i dont tell you how it works. its my secret!". the most people learned photoshop or designing from each other..
maybe its another view if someone, for example, would ask me about my technique of making a good id card and i say no because i dont like the person but mainly i think: we should help each other. work together. somewhere everybody come to a point where he cant go alone forward. need some advice for the development of the own skills.

Evereyone has their own opinions about things like that. Some people don;t mind if someone uses their exact idea, especially if they realize that that is the best way to explain a tutoiral. Other people don't like to give away their secrets because other people will have the same techniques, thus making yours not so unique. People like this shouldn't make tutorials because it makes them much more confusing.
As for me, I don't like sharing most of my secrets, but there are some I will share with others. =D

I see it as you can teach people some techniques just don't teach them everything. Let them figure out how to keep getting information without you being there. Which is why I only made the two tutorials. sweatdrop

If someone ever requests for me to make a tutorial on a specific tehcnique they like of mine, I might do it, depending on what technique they want. But there are some secrets that I have that will remain secrets. I think most people have at least one technique like that that they have never taught anyone else except themselves. Yea. =)

I think it is good to tell people how to do things. If someone wants to learn how you did something it is better to tell them than let them be ignorant. Teaching makes me feel good.

what's the point of making a tutorial if you don't want to share your techniques? And after all, a tutorial is about teaching people about a technique.
And those techniques you want to remain a secret, should never be make into a tutorial.
Well, I never have a secret technique to share anyway.

Who's making a tutorial over things they don't want people to know? I se no logic behind that.
All my secrets shall remain as is. Secrets.
