Ger ran just as fast as her, mostly because he was being cautious of his weight, his speed, and his balance. He could not run too fast to or he would lose his balance and fall or he would slip and fall. Either way, he was gonna fall.
"Kimmy, hold on! I can't run as fast as you!"
He stumbled a bit but was able to regain his balance after a moment and continued to run. How far was her den? His paws alternated under him as he ran higher up the mountainside. Where was her den? Wait...didn't she live with Swaii? That would be rather awkward to wake up with a father in his face growling at him....no matter, Kimmy was his friend, she invited him. Swaii will just have to put up with him. Hey, he was a nice guy, right? Ger hasn't hurt anyone (much)

She turned at some point and sad, waching him make his way up. They were close now, so best not be noisy and get her dad angry. She curled her tail around her paws while waiting, waching him stumble. She, at one point, moved as if to get up to help, but he recovered, so she relaxed.
"Hurry up, Ger! " She said again, grinning meekly.

"I am! I am! Geez!" He rushed up further and soon enough he was in front of her. "Alright, I caught up. So lets keep movin' before the sun rises."
He chuckled and smiled. She was a nice female, he was glad that he saw her as a friend. Otherwise, he would not be here. He would not have seen this lake. Well, he was just glad.
"So what do we do about your dad?"

Kimaji got up when he was here, then continued more quietly up the mountain. "Silly Ger, sun still far from rising! " She stuck her tongue out, pulling herself up a rock and continuing along. A bit ahead the mouth of the cave yawned out.
"Kimaji gotta see if Swaii is awake. But Ger might not be able to go in. " She shrugged. Swaii hadn't ever seemed so stranger friendly, though she was ever so fond of him either way.

"It sure seems like it is close..."
He chuckled and kept close behind the other lioness. He moved on with little effort and made sure to keep at least her tail in his sight, his tiredness was catching up to him and it was starting to slow him down much more than he had expected. He smiled and gave a sigh of relief when he heard that the cave was not too far, and chuckled when she added that he may not be able to inside.
"It's alright, Kimmy. I can sleep outside."

Finally, or at least, maybe in Ger's mind, the young female was peering into the edge of a dark cave, barely lit, as even with the few holes through here and there,it was dark out now, so there wasn't much light to come in to start with.
"Swaii stays all the wayat the back. " She said, though moreso whispered, looking back at him. "Ger can stay right here at the front,'n then Kimaji can wake him up in the morning! " She was almost squeaking now, but held herself back from being loud, as sound echoed in here, and anything loudwould probably wake her father. "Is it ok with Ger?"

Ger chuckled and smiled at her.
"It's fine. I appreciate your hospitality."
Ger moved slowly and laid himself down near where she was standing. He tucked his tail ever so slightly under his tail and lead his head down beside his outstretched paws. His hindlegs were tossed to the side as his shoulders rolled to relax.
"Well, if Swaii is back there, I hope he doesn't mind another's snoring from time to time. That is if he can even hear me."
