Colette sighed and then things clicked when she saw that Noah was a mouse. "Oh...That explains somethings," she said and then looked over at Nick. "Who said that you had to leave?.. I don't think that anyone's going to eat eachother." Colette put on a small smile and then looked back down at the mouse. "It's ok.. No dangers here.."

Ryan sat up in the sand when Noah fell over. He had figured the guy was uncomfortable with his changes, but he hadn't realized how uncomfortable he was.

"Hey man, it's alright, no one here is going to think any less of you because of what you look like." He tried to sound comforting, though it wasn't exactly one of his strong points. "You shouldn't be ashamed because of something someone else did to you." He looked up at the two newcomers, he was at a loss of what else to say.

Autumn said nothing as Nick replied to what she said, & only watched as he tried to yank the cloak off.

As Ryan suggested introductions, she just mumbled. "The name's Autumn," she said quietly.

Suddenly, the cloaked figure flailed about & fell over, his hood falling back & revealing his face. So far, he didn't seem too different, at least to Autumn. It was still enough to draw her attention & give him a quick look-over. His ears seemed colorless, his nose changed. His skin seemed very pale. Too pale. Autumn tried not to make it so obvious that she was looking, but a quick squint suggested that it might not necessarily be skin at all. Combining his facial features with the claws & the tail, the tail mostly, Autumn figured he was turning into a mouse or a rat.

Autumn couldn't get a much better look than that, since he quickly covered his face. She looked back at the bird-man, & figured that's why Noah seemed.. So edgy & uptight. And nervous.

"I don't think less of you," she stated. "Since everyone's going through these changes, then I don't think too many people will care." She shrugged, & said nothing more. She had no idea what else to say.

Oh, being eaten wasn't the greatest worry for Noah anymore. Granted, owl-boy still made him nervous, what with that faint thing-that-can-kill-you scent, but he was feeling less worried about that by the moment. Too many people here, and the wol-man was too awkwardly formed to chase and kill him...the worst he could dow as make him hurt.

But it was hard to fight the instinctual fear.

He splayed his finger and peeked at the people before lowering his hands. He pushed himself up, balancing on the balls of his feet, looking nervously at the people looming around him. Too many people, all in his personal space. His nose twitched a bit, whiskers wiggling. Bother, bother bother. Even if there were only four people around, he never did good when crowded.

He chattered his teeth again, hunching his shoulders. His tail came around and he grabbed at it, picking at the fur in his crude form of 'grooming'.

"No..don't..." he started halting his grooming for a moment. His voice caught in his throat, and he was unable to continue of jstify himself.

He looked at Nick, and while it was tempting to simply ask them all to leave, he didn't want to be alone. Not right now. It was strange. He didn't want anyone to see him, but he didn't want to be alone the solitude...it was becoming painful, in a way. He down, ashamed. He looked shyly at Autumn and Ryan for a moment, avoiding eye contact more with Autumn than Ryan. Girls mades him nervous. Women made him nervous, and he wasn't sure why. They just did. He began to grom his tail again, chattering his teeth a bit before speaking.

"Just because ve vill all change completely does not make zings easier. Vone day, ve vill all die, but deaz is not easier to ahcknowledge or accept, is it?" he said, shivering some, his hands moving rapidly over his tail. His ears twitched uneasily.

"I never vanted zis. Vhat did I do for zis?" he whimpered hoarsely, more to himself than anyone else. He knew Ryan was right- it wasnt his fault...he never meant for this, but he somehow couldn't help but feel this was all his fault...that this was a puishment for something...

Everything he had known had been thrown out of balance ever since he had first changed...and it was all so stressful. Some people could handle the stress well...Noah couldn't. That was the plain of it. Despite Colette's soothing tone, he still felt his heart pounding.

He pulled himself up eventually, still fidgeting ith his tail. He left the hood down- what was the point of having it up now that everyone had seen him? He felt ashamed but...he just didn't want to bother now. He glanced up the beach to where the girl...the marked-girl...had run.

"I am zhinking zat perhahps...ve should go speak vith zeh girl zat fled...Miss Georgia? She seemed upset." he said, feeling a pang of remorse for the girl. Perhaps he had frightened her. He didn't blame her- he was a frightening creature...

“I know…its just…” He cut off, he just couldn’t think of a good analogy for the Island that would make him feel better.

“N-no thanks” he replied to Noah question about Georgia, he was reverting to his shy state again, the embarrassment of making Noah so uncomfortable has gotten to him. He avoided looking straight at Noah now, part of him didn’t want to upset him further.

He turned back to Colette, she’d make him feel better. “You w-wanna go eat something Colette?”

"Hmm?. Oh.. Uhh Sure," Colette said as she put on a small smile. She hadn't really been paying too much to the converation and had been just lost in thought. "Let's go then."

[Autumn Chandler]

As everyone seemed to be getting ready to head away from the beach, suddenly Autumn didn't want to be left alone.

"I'll go with you," she said to Noah. If she was going to be stuck here, she might as well try to make friends or something. If there was one thing she would like to look foward to, it was having friends.

Autumn then turned to Colette & Nick. "Why don't you two tag along?" she asked, not realizing that perhaps Noah didn't want a predatory bird around. "If we can find her, perhaps we can all.. Oh, I don't know.. Maybe we can all go grab lunch or something." She shrugged her shoulders. It was a lame attempt to keep the group together.

Ryan decided that peraps he had done enough damage for one day. The girl that had run off didn't seem to have been cheered up by him. Seeing him again probably wouldn't help any.

"Actually, I may head over to the cafe as well, as soon as I get my shirt from the beach. Well, as long as I'm not interuptting anything." It was directed towards Colette and Nick. He hated bing a third wheel.

Noah's ears drooped when Nick and Colette decided they'd rather go off on there own, though a part of him was relieved that the owl-man would be leaving. He knew that the owl-man probably a nice guy deep inside, but the instinctual twinge of fear that Noah felt...it was hard to ignore. He lowered his head, shamefully. it seems as though he'd made a big mess of things- first scaring of Georgia, now making owl-boy and tail-girl feel unwelcome. Maybe...he shouldn't have come out of his duplex after all. The fact that Ryan, the chatty-boy, was opting out to made him feel worse.

His ears did perk up again when the Unchanged One, Autumn, said she'd go with him, and attempted to convince the other to stay. He brought his head up a little and glanced at her, giving a small, wan smile.

"If zey do not vish to come along, it's okay." he said, quietly.

Being in a group-- if he had to be around people in the first place-- made him feel safer...and he never did quite as good alone with just one other person unless he had time beforehand to get to know them, and girls made him terribly nervous. But regardless, he figured he'd like Autumn's company. She seemed low-key and kind enough, at any rate. Plus, if they DID find Georgia, he'd end up in a group of girls (if two other people could be a group), which he found he was more at ease with than all-male groups.

He had to get outside of his duplex, outside of his bubble, and branch out anyways. As much as his disliked social contact, a part of him was telling him to make more friends, to become more at ease with people...it was all rather confusing...but then again, this whole island was confusing.

He finally pulled his hood back up over his face- if they were going to find Georgia, he didn't want to scare her any more than he already had. And even if they did find her, and they just ended up talking...well, no one needed to see anymore of his face anyways.

Georgia didn't get very far before she collapsed on the stairs of a nearby duplex. Her body heaved as she sobbed quietly to herself. It wasn't only the arguments that had set her off, it was everything. A list she didn't wish to run through her head, ever. Right now her mind seemed to just shut down as she stared blankly at the dark shadows on the ground. An occasional sob left her throat, tears were left to run down her red cheeks until they became too tickly to bare and was swiftly wiped away with a white hanky.

She didn't know how long she sat there, it seemed like forever, but if anybody would have seen her they would noticed her head was bowed and that her long auburn hair covered most of her face, hiding her puffy red eyes. It was the calm after a storm, she had run out of tears and couldn't seem to grasp a thought. A peaceful lure, at that moment nothing mattered, time could have stood still and maybe it did. It was a pleasent feeling that couldn't last for long.
