Bella is just human. A weird human, but still just human....For now....the fact he cant hear her is a talent of some kind, she repels abilitys (but not all for some other reason). It will definantly make a interesting ability once she is a vampire.(which will be in the next book if i have anything to say about it)
You do have a interesting idea though, but I still think its wrong.

twisted words Stephenie said somewhere on the personal correspondence that Bella was 100% human. Sorry to pop your bubble. Personally, I think Bella's 97% human because of the scar James left... I agree...I'm not entirely convinced that Edward got all the venom out. How long had the venom had to get to her heart and start to transform her into a vampire before the Cullens rescued her? eek

The place where James bit her had already begun changing, which is why its a scar. In New Moon, Bella mentions her scar is a few degrees lower than the rest of her body. Her scar is actually part vampire.

I really hope that Bella is human.
I like the twists with Edward being a Vampire and Jacob being a werewolf...but I'm afraid if Bella turns out to be another different mythilogical creature...that the books will go down hill.
Besides, Stephenie said (sorry if I'm repeating something) on her website that she's anti human when someone claimed she was anti-female because Bella was weak compared to the males.
She called Bella human there, or am I wrong?
She at least strongly implied it. stare
