Nikela paced in her work room, her arms crossed behind her back. "Why hasn't Blayne contacted me? Has she stopped having the dreams?" she wondered aloud, pausing to look out her window. "No, that can't be it..." She continued pacing, not noticing the pixie that had entered the room.
Chirp flew to his mistress, trying to tug on her sleeves with his tiny claws. Mistress! There's a message from Blay'nurek! he said, the sound to human ears no more than squeaks and yips.
"What?! There is!!" She practically dove to the door, Chirp catching her shirt as she ran. "So the little one's been having them still?"
Yes, she's remembering more, she even saw one of their faces this time, Chirp reported, managing to beat his wings fast enough to keep up.
"This is fantastic! I feel sorry for her of course, but we are closer to catching them!" She turned a corner, almost slamming into a gargoyle. "Sorry!" she yelled as she dodged him, still heading to the seeing room. Finally she arrived and she threw herself into the seat, pressing her hand on the identification panel. A mirror shimmered in front of her, revealing Blayne's striped face as he recited what Rose had told him.
"....Nikela, she should be ready for one of your readings now. She has remembered so much more in this last week, but I am afraid that the reading may cause her mental harm, yet she is willing to go through with it," he said, running a hand through his navy hair. "I shall be waiting for you, my friend, whenever you decide to come." He smiled softly, then the image shimmered away.
Nikela sat back, placing a finger against her lips. "That is more than any have remembered...." she whispered, wiping a stray tear from her eye. Dream reader or not, she had always been emotional and sympathetic to others' suffering. "Chirp, we should go as soon as possible," she said, standing up suddenly and racing back to her work room.
Sounds great. I'll catch up WHEN YOU DECIDE TO REMEMBER PIXIES CAN ONLY FLY SO FAST!!!! Chirp buzzed angrily as he tried his hardest to keep up with her while cursing her in the pixie language.
