The teenager inside froze as someone was suddenly pounding on the outside of the Liger, snarling as rage overtook him in a seething hot wave. The restraints were clicked free, and Mordecai unstrapped his knife, the cockpit slowly opening. The dim light hurt his eyes, and he stopped for a moment, teeth bared, indigo eyes narrowed with nothing less than hatred. Was this the one? Was this the one who had put the Liger in such agony? The slender teen could only bristle for a moment, his breath coming out in short, enraged pants. "Get away," He managed to rasp between gritted teeth finally, his grip tightening around the hilt of the knife. "I'll kill you."

"Kill me?!" she asked, laughing. She really found that funny, loosening up her neck muscles with a swift crack on either side. "I promise you, you won-" she stopped, dead sentence after getting a glance at this beautiful being. What was he!? No one could look the way he did. 'Was it a girl?' she wondered to herself, staring at him with awe. 'No, it couldn't be, he is far to beautiful to be a girl...' Stumbling back, Lauren shook her head, trying to regain her solid composure. But then, a sharp pain twanged across the side of her head as she quickly applied pressure to her wound, a light tint of pink creeping up her cheeks. "Wh-who are you!?"
Please note Lauren trying to clean up her language.

Dark hair was shoved out of his face, the red, swirling tattoos on his cheeks illuminated within the dusty light of the fading sun. Mordecai had suffered losses before--and he was no threat to an enemy without his Energy Liger. True, he had that knife, and he certainly knew how to kill with it...but what could a mere teen do against a functional combat weapon like a zoid? So she was laughing at him? Had she come to take the Liger away from him again, that was why she was laughing?! Mordecai growled wordlessly--and paused, his eyes narrowed. What had happened? She was backing off suddenly, staring at him, changing colors...His shoulders hunched instinctively, feeling vulnerable now that the cockpit was open, even if he wasn't outside yet. "No one," He finally hissed, fully prepared to attack the moment this...person got too close.

The girl threw up belted-gloved hands, showing him that she meant no harm... at least for now. "Bul-" she caught herself mid-word, "I mean... You have to be someone, if you were no one, you wouldn't be here in front of me." Crossing her arms, she paced slowly, back and forth in a straight line, trying to come up with an idea of what to do now.
"Stay right there," she paused, looking at his perfection with strong eyes. "I'm going to check on Eli. If you move, I will shoot you." an empty threat. Walking carefully, as not to push the pain throbbing against her head, Lauren arrived at the Breaker, manually opening the chest compartment where Eli was contained. Gingerly lifting her bridal style, the girl-thing shot the Liger's pilot another glance before walking over to her own Zoid, placing Eli in the driver's seat.

He simply bore his teeth in response, indigo eyes flickering slightly. Mordecai fully prepared on killing this one, leaping out of the cockpit to land on unsteady legs. He hadn't used them for so long--walking was almost a problem. She had told him to stay, but since when did she have any right to tell him what he could and could not do? Insolent wench--but as the pilot of the Crystal Breaker was revealed, Mordecai visibly shuddered, sinking down to his knees in the sand, the knife dropping uselessly so hands could grip either side of his head. No, no, he didn't want to see her, didn't want to have to kill her with his bare hands again--
With a wordless sort of moan, the pilot scrabbled backwards until his back was pressed up against the still-hot armor of the downed Liger, twitching, taking comfort in its silent body. He was invincible with the Liger. And, as though the zoid was some sort of memory block, Mordecai's shoulders slowly eased, the painful throb ceasing. There was nothing to be frightened of. Nothing. There was nothing to remember...One hand extended to pick up the knife, handlin it slowly, almost fondly. Everything was fine.

Brushing stray strands from Eli's forehead, Lauren checked quickly for any visible injuries she might have sustained. Seeing none, a sigh of relief escaped her tightly pursed lips. Turning to the man once again, Lauren allowed herself another look at him. He really was beautiful. The color of his eyes, the gloss of his long hair, it called to her, as embarrassing and creepy as it was.
Digging under the BP's pilot seat, Lauren yanked out a small First Aide Kit. Cracking it open, she popped a handful of pain killers into her mouth to be dry swallowed. Then, walking over to the black haired boy, she stopped half way before throwing the kit the rest to him. Just in case.
Now she had a few questions she wanted answered, but highly doubted she would get the answers to. "Alright..." she started, picking her words carefully, "My name is Lauren. Would you please tell me yours?" That was the first, and probably the hardest one of the set to coax a truthful reply from.

His knees had been pulled unconsciously up to his chest, nearly settling his chin on them as those eyes of his stared blankly out at the desert. He certainly was a creepy one--it was as though he was lost in his own world. Mordecai paid absolutely no attention to the pair of girls--until the kit was thrown at him. The teenaged pilot jerked as though he'd been slapped across the face, eyes wide with surprise at first before narrowing sharply. Had she tried to hit him?
Arms wrapped themselves around his knees, and Mordecai tilted his head slightly, studying her with an unreadable expression. It was almost as though he was bored. Lauren...? He didn't care. But surprisingly, after a moment, the teen looked away, some of that dark hair spilled over one eye. "...Mordecai." His tone was raspy and soft, as though he wasn't used to speaking aloud. Why, what an honor--who knew why he chose to respond?

"Mordecai, huh?" 'Well that was easy, she thought, maybe the rest will be the same...' but somehow, she doubted her own thoughts. Lauren fallowed Mordecai's example of taking a seat on the grassy ground, sprawling her legs out in the most comfortable position. A sigh escaped her lips and her eyes turned to the sky, a free hand shielding the bright sun from her eyes.
Looking away, Lauren studied the damages that spread itself around them. A dead Energy Liger, a steaming Saix-beast, and a Swiss-cheese Breaker. "s**t" she said aloud before letting out a frustrated scream. "How the ******** are we going to get out of this!?" Lauren drew her legs in as arm rests so she could cradle her already pounding head in a makeshift basket of her own fingers. This was a little more than she bargained for. Just a little.

The pilot of the Energy Liger was silent, his gaze slowly drifting back to the girl as a piercing scream of frustration split the rapidly darkening sky. To her question, he had no answer--it was unlikely that he would have told her, even if he did know. It was as though the enraged violence that usually possessed him was gone, dead, with the Energy Liger. Until, of course, it woke once again.
His glazed, indigo eyes now traveled to the zoids besides his fallen one, feeling nothing as they settled upon the Breaker. No satisfaction, no twinge of victory...nothing. They had won nothing. The pilot--the pilot that looked like his--Mordecai slammed his head back against the Energy Liger, fingers gripping the ground underneath him ruthelessly as he drove those thoughts away. No, no, he wouldn't think about it. It was fine. But really, how would they get out of here...?

Grey eyes opened up, only to reveal a blured vision of a compact cockpit. Red, red was that glass that.. what was it again? Red... The navy haired pilot blinked a bit, she seemd to have slipped into unconscious.. but where was she? She knew this place...Red... Eli sat there for a moment, still in a daze, trying to think of where she was, what she was doing.. and why does she feel exhausted.. Red...
"Lauren...?" Her eyes opened up and saw spotted two shapes near an Energy Liger, one was clearly distinctive how far away and blurred it was. The other.. not so much. The other seemed like the type of splot you wouldn't notice unless it talked to you... or assualted you with a high caliber weapon... the navy haired pilot groaned in realization that she lost to that thing. Thankfully she was able to hit the distress beacon.. and well. Lauren did her job.
Those grey eyes belonging to the girl named Eli, searched the cockpit's controls... only to notice the zoid was in rather bad condition. Must of fought... She quickly began work on the control's communication, taking a peek down at Lauren to notice she seemed to be having a chat with the opponent. "I'll let her have her fun... " and with that, Eli kept fiddling away to her main goal of calling in some help.
