I would love to see the looks on your faces when a boy pops out of there. xd What are you going to do then? rofl
Dressing a boy in al lolita dress at a ver young age might be traumatic for them neutral But I would love to have a boy too

XD well...again it should be THEIR choice

Neither would I, if I was a boy, I'd prance around with my Gi Joes or whatever kids played with and sing along to Malice Mizer whilst wearing a BtSSB dress. Oh, hell yes. n_n

If I were a girl [I am, don't get me wrong!] , I'm afraid it'd be the same.

Hahahahahahah... little girls always have the dresses I wish I could fit into.
So frankly, I don't really think what little kids wear can be called lolita as a conscious fashion choice -- it's just little kid clothes --- UBER CUTE ONES AT THAT.
But ya no?... They're not wearing lolita. We're wearing stuff based off stuff their wearing.

But they wouldn't be getting strange looks walking down the street. It'd just be "OMG SO CUTEEEEE!~"

I dunno if I made meh words very clear... sweatdrop
Um...

Little kids wear little kids clothes. Since lolita is essentially little kid clothes in adult sizes, it's the same thing. It's not gonna traumatize them, 'cause all the other little kids are wearing the same stuff -- 'cept there's will be cuter.

Meh, I can't bear children...so im going to have to adopt some kids that like pretty clothes..xD And Mizer Manakins, i think they were saying it would be traumatic for -boys- to be in Lolita dresses...Unless they are transgendered, which can happen at ages as young as 5...but whatever...xD

I definatly agree that less ornate and complicated clothes for kids would be better, even though "Lolita" essentially means child Anyway, and the clothes are SOmetimes child clothes in adult sizes, when you get to Gothic lolta (Gosurori), and Gore Lolita(Gorurori), Aristocratic lolita, and ESPECIALLY Erotic Lolita(Erorori), they start being more adult. Sweet, or Amarori , Casual lolita, Wa-rori (loli with traditional japanese parts), and Qi-rori (loli with chinese aspects), is best for kids.

Most Lolita clothes actually -arent- based soley off of childrens attire. They arent -meant- to look like kids clothes.

I used to have this beautiful velvet coat with a black faux fur trim that would have been perfect for Lolia clothes....and tons of other dresses. I used to win first prize in beauty contests because 1) my outfits were cute ruffly perfect little girl outfits and 2) i used to have PERFECT natual blonde ringlets...I was cute as a kid xD That has all changed now, unfortunatly...xD

P.S. Yes, i know i left out some Loli styles, But oh well, you guys get the picture.

I think that idea is really adorable xD because I thought about it too. I can see my daughter in this modest, gothic lolita dress and dollie-like shoes whee going to school. Yeah, but I don't like sewing though >.> but I will have to try if I don't want to pay a lot of money on buying one. Lol I shall Americanize my daughter's gothic lolita dress rolleyes . I also thought about if I have a son. Not many ideas, but oh well.

I think it's really cute that you want to do so and I don't see anything wrong in doing it, since I want my future kids to dress like that too. However what it worries me is the fact that maybe if you dress them like that eventually they might hate to dress like that.

Still I keep my point, if they look cute and you are sure they won't ruin them or that they will try to take it off then it's a good idea!

I wish my mom was like that when I was a little girl, still she did dressed me in cute little doll-like dresses. 4laugh

I agree, I would love to dress my "future kids" in lolitia and boy style, butt i dont want them ruining their outfits or ending up hating the style.

Actually...recently, my mother whipped out an old dress of mine from when I was reeeeaally little. It's an Alice in Wonderland dress with a little embroidery of the white rabbit on the apron.

She told me that it was my favorite dress to wear, and I would have worn it everyday if I could. Sadly, I dont' remember this...

But it makes me happy to think that I still have the same interests from when I was very young X3

I say if they like it cool... And if not then let them chose their own style...

Regardless of how lame that might come out to be...

Clothing is an will always be a form of expression...
