All right, now this might be the kind of thing that belongs in the Writer's forum, but no one goes there.
What I want to know, is if you could write one novel/series and only that one, what would it be about? I'm wondering what kind of characters people would use for their protagonists and villains, or if their villains are their protagonists? And what would they go through? If this goes well I'll ask the lovely Crystalmuse for permission to draw up plans for a contest in the Writer's forum.
I also want to know how it ends, a good book is nothing without it's good ending!

Ah, good question! 3nodding If I wrote a novel, it would, of course, be a fantasy book. I wouldn't stick to people as characters, you know, I could have things such as talking cats, djinn, golems, warlocks/witches...and stuff like that. I kind of like the idea of soul reapers, like in the anime Bleach, and grim reapers, like in the anime Yuyu Hakusho, so I might include spirits and ghosts. I would mosat definitely involve magic and dragons; those would be 2 of my favorite parts of the fantasy genre.
g2g...I'll get back to this later... sweatdrop

Well I'm going to have to say that for me a great villain/antagonist would have to be this one I dream about constantly. He's like a mix of Highlander and Snape (immortal, magical, handsome). Not evil, but very, very mislead in his ways. He thinks he is doing right when the rest of the world thinks he is doing wrong. It always ends with him seeing my point of view and turning into a sort of anti-hero.
BTW: Go ahead and do any kind of contest in the writer's guild. You can even post a link to it in your own thread right here in the main forum if you want.
I'm lovely. biggrin

I would also go with a fantasy. I also have more than one main character, usually three to five. Each character has a different dream, goal, and drive. My villains are always human in characteristic (Never any of that completely evil for the sake of evil thing people do...) and by the end either dies thinking he/she is doing good, or changes their views before the last. I would incorporate dragons somewhere, even if only as a minor role. None of that odd elves and dwarfs Lord of the Ring type thing either; just plain old normal (not really) humans. Of course, magic has to come into the story sometime. Hehe, it wouldn't be much of a fantasy without it. wink
