I'm under the belief that we should start protecting the aliens that have proven themselves friendly to the Gaians. If we have allies - how much better will we fare if it comes down to the worst case scenario?
The Believers have been keeping track of who has changed sides.
As for Flarn/09 - he is still alive, on account of numerous reports... however, he is recovering with the Mothership, and appears to have suffered slight amnesia. It is my hope that he is still on our side - and since the Mothership has assured Yuzi_K that 09 still loves her... hopefully he will continue to think of everyone else as friends.
I agree that we should protect those of the aliens that are friendly. We've begun to take steps to allow a sort of sanctuary for our friendly visitors while protecting them from the more hostile of their brethren, but we have unfortunately had a bit of trouble implementing it.
xp As soon as we iron things out, we will be glad to open our doors to the benign members of the zurg. Hopefully, we can learn a great deal about their culture from this interaction.
smile PS. I had heard about Flarn from the Believer's, but have not been sure how to proceed.
