I happen to know three people with Wiis really well, so playing the Wii isn't a problem for me. And I'm just not interested in the PS3 at all right now. None of the launch titles look that appealing, and it's just way too much money to spend on a game system that doesn't have any games that I'm interested in.

blaugh My older bro pre-ordered one so he got it when it first came out. I get to play it so I'm lucky. The PS3 is too expensive for us though. cry

Lirial Didn't see a post about this yet, perhaps there is a reason, but... was anyone lucky enough to purchase a PS3 or Wii? I personally want a PS3 so bad I can taste it...but I'm not gonna be one of these retards paying thousands for one on ebay. They will make more eventually. I dunno where i live i have seen like 10ps3's unwanted and stuff and im glad ps3's suck...but I can see why the Wii is hard to get cuz its looks really fun and you can afford it....

I plan on getting a Wii in the future. Not only does it have a good selection of games and is inovative, but it's Nintendo. mrgreen And I have a few issues with the PS3 outside of it's price, glitches, and game line-up... wait.. .what line-up? From what I understand the PS3 is so pricey because of the Blu-Ray technology that they added. If they gave buyers the option of not having the BluRay stuff, I imagine the price would be more around in the XBox 360 range. But as people have already said, "supply and demand". rolleyes
As I hear people say: "You're better off getting a 'Wii-60' than a PS3." wink

The PS3 seems pretty cool and the Wii is...different...but I have no real plans to purchase either right now. I'm happy to say that there are plenty more important, better things for me to save for and purchase right now. surprised

I really, really want a Wii... but I'm sure I'll get a PS3 eventually. FF13 being on it and all...

Well actually my friend bought two. And sold it to my boyfriend. Who sold it to me. :S But I got one. And it's awesome.

Damn everyone has a wii. Do me a favor and buy some dresses at the shop I work for (click on siggy) so that I could afford a wii.
As for ps3 meh maybe in a year or two when they have better games.

One of my best friends bought me a Wii for Xmas!!! Yay!!!! <333 And now Ive seen a couple PS3s in stores. I want one SOOOOOooo BAD! Im hoping Ill have enough after buying the remaining wedding items from my tax returns. *crosses fingers*

I'm one of those people who happen to find stacks of PS3, Wii, and Xbox 360s but doesn't have enough money right now to buy any. =[
