Fox squinted, his eye of the seer comeing into action, as Vini burst forward, his bullets would reach first. But this time Fox wasnt holding back, as he saw the bullets, his first move was to whip up his right hand, his palm thrusting into the air, and as it retracted back, a great blast of force would be released into teh air befor him, the air becoming like a thick cusioned wall of pure steel, the bullets reflected. And as Vini contnued forward, Fox would wait till the last possible moment, his eye giving him the exact timing, before releasing a sharp blast of kinetic energy to his side, completely avoiding Vinis charge.
And then as he was out of the way, as Vini would continue past him, he would turn, the air around his hand beginning to sear a bright white, becoming a burning combination of supernove heat concelead in a caseing of super-condensed kinetic energy. Initially, Fox was going to use this as an attack, shotting the star-bombs at Vini, the kinetic force penetrating before the heat exploded out like a grenade, releasing great amounts of force, hopefully damageing Vini.
But it wansnt going to work like that, because Vini was 'charging his lazar', so Fox would not have enough time to react, though Fox would not need his eye of the seer to know what would happen, a great focusing of energies usually continues onto a beam or blast of somekind. But he placed both hands before him in the air, as Vini charged, and then the eye of Seer waited, and at the exact moment that the laser shot, Foxs whole body tensed up, and his body released a great amount of kinetic and thermal energy, pumping it out before him until the air before him actually became a large white wall, similar to the energy contained in Foxs gauntlets earlier.
It would work that the kinetic energy would harden the air, so that it became solid kinetic energy, which would hopefully refract or deflect the light energy off in other directions, and then the unstable mana and thermal energy would create a great amount of fiery explosions on the other side of the wall.

The bullets would be slowed, but not deflected, as the antimagic field around them would nullify the force which was making the kinetic energy stay in a 'solid wall.' When the beam made contact with the thermal energy it began to flare with greater intensity, pushing through the kinetic force. The light itself was only the carrier by which the pulse that then travelled down the beam was delivered. The idea that explosions would occur was one that was true, Fox's side of the wall in particular would make hell look like a nice breeze day somewhere in the winter. From that thermal energy and mana component the Phoenix Strike was born, drawing all heat into a cleansing flame of azure that would quickly consume Fox and explode with devestating force before rising up in the form of a great celestial phoenix. This phoenix was merely a visual effect of the spell, not an actual summon, and once the spell reached its pinnacle the phoenix would fall upon Fox in another explosive blast of death.
Left unprotected he would not be rising from the ashes.

Fox was initially lucky. But that doesnt mean luck always meant success. He was not prepared for the blast, the flames erupting behind the shield, but he was defencless, the flames engulfed him, the only thing saving him between life and death was his aura, but that still wasn't enough and so he stood no chance, as the blaze of the shield died down, he fell down, battered, and only when he caught a glimpse of the on comeing blast could he prepare.
This last move wouldnt be one to keep the fight going, or allow him to win, it would just be to save him. So as he fell, the pheonix coming, he raised his hand once more, his whole aura releasing forward in a great burst of energy, pumping all the energy he had at that point, except for enough to keep him alive and to escape, the blast was released in the shape of a large dragons head, shooting forward to catch the pheonix on its way, their collision creating a huge explosion of energy, as both dissapeared.
And Fox hit the floor hard, landing on his back, bouncing once before finally resting, his body cut, bruised and bleeding, he sat up a little, bending on a knee for support, before speaking slowly, one eye shut and covered in blood from a cut above his brow,
"Alright, alright...Its over...I failed."
With that, he got up slowly, breathing deep and fast, stumbleing to a stand before smirking as he looked around at the destroyed battleground and waiting for his opponent.

((I feel like keeping this open to RP post-battle stuff. >.> You know, like the whole 'I have a sword in my chest' thing))
Calculations flared in his main AI core as he watched the descent of his opponent, his sensor systems coming back online. Once he determined that his opponent was spent and out of bounds he let the Ressonance Field drop away. His body seemed to drop from the sky like a stone as a ressounding -=CLACK=- filled the air, signalling the sealing of the rest of his mana ports.
He landed not far from Fox, his landing fracturing the already heavily abused stone floor of the arena as light began to flood back into the area in normal amounts. Whirring issued forth from his joints as he straightened up, components in his legs buckling under the strain of the fall. With a spin the nanopistoil was holstered and the blade in his left hand was returned to its sheathe inside his shoulder. A loud clang followed as his torso spun to catch the other blade returning to him, which was then also replaced.
The azure glow left the metallic monolith's eyes as he crossed his arms just below the blade and stared at Fox. When his eyes had returned to points of red light he spoke, "You have survived, but you are spent. Well played, human. I am afraid I am unable to remove your sword from my chest without...assistance. Already the blade is partially destroyed where it ruptured one of my nanite colonies. I also appologize that I will be unable to repair it unless, of course, you care not for the weapon and would rather let me keep it as a trophy."

Fox was breathing hard, but with the field gone, the little energy that his body was createing to try and remove the effects of the field were drawing back into him, their magical tendancies boosting his natural energies and allowing his accelerated healing to begin. Ofcourse, this did not mean he would be able to fight, he wouldnt be able to fight for weeks, if not months, as the robot as said, he was well spent.
Right now, he was nothing more then human, and a beaten and bleeding human too. Though still with a little kinetic control left in him. He stumbled forward towards the robot, looking at the buzzing blade,
"If we can get it out.. Maybe it will still be useful... I've had it for a while.."
He moved closer,
"If you power down, and try to slow everything in your body, inclusing the nanonite-things...I could return the blade to its concealing form, and slide it out quickly?"

The unblinking gaze of the machine burned into Fox as he pondered the suggestion for a moment. The moment seemed to stretch into eternity until he finally shook his head, "The nanite reservoir is damaged and will not respond to my commands. It is reacting to a foreign object in the best way it can: elimination. Even if the blade were altered in design by a magical process I extrapolate that an error would most likely occur during transformation. In an extension of this scenario the nanites would remain upon the newly transformed blade and continue the destruction of the foreign object, despite its transition to a location other than my frame. The scenario with the highest percentage of success would involve a great deal of harm to structural supports in my upper torso region and would require extensive repairs. I would be unable to execute this scenario as I have subroutines written into my operating system against willing self-destruction of my form or self-termination."

Fox blinked at his expression, if it was a cartoon, a great drop of sweat would fall from Foxs temple, his eyes wide.
He wasn't a smart man, he didn't have the greatest grasp on the ways of technology, but he understood that he had no hope of getting the sword back, so with a shrug, he fell to his bottom, sitting quickly on the screwed floor, he looked at his burnt hands, and then at the arena around him, and then back to his hands,
"If anyone asks...You did this! I was just a victim of your path of destruction!"
he laughed, rather ammused by this comment.

The blade seemed to shudder as the sound of metal straining echoed out from his frame. His stance remained unchanged, his unblinking eyes focused directly on Fox. His hand rose slowly and gripped the hilt of the blade and slid it free, the other half of the blade still lodged in his structure. The 'cut' seemed clean, a thin silver fluid covering the end of the now shortened blade. Turning the blade around he offered the hilt to Fox, "I am still inable to remove the other half without damaging the rear portion of my hull. If you want it to be salvaged I would suggest trying to brainstorm as it will most likely be entirely eliminated by my nanite reservoir."

He took the hilt, laughing a little as he got back up, looking at the hilt, he stabbed it into the floor beside him, he felt his energy slowly returning, though he was still physically crippled at the moment, his control would soon be back to normal, and so he moved forward,
"Okay...These nanites appear to have liquid about them...I should be able to sorta...cause an expansion of kinetic energy charged air within you, createing a cushion of air between most of the nanites and the remains of the blade..."
He walked towards Vini, looking into his chest and thinking it over,
"And then perhaps, by increasing the pressure at the far end, I can cause the blade to be pushed out, allowing it to slide out...Like a splinter..."
he waited for Vinis thoughts.

If he had eyes to narrow at Fox, he most likely would have, "That is the residue which had once been your blade. The nanite concentration within it is negligable at best. However, the nanites do look as if they are in a fluid form based on the human perception of a fluid. Furthermore, I would suggest not doing anything with energy of any sort within my body, else you want my chest to explode. The True Negativity core does not and cannot deactivate itself."

he thought once more, stopping and rubbing his chin,
"What about if I made a condensed shell again around my hand, and spaded out the blade, then left the shell in place and slip my hand out?"
he was running low on ideas.

Vini's seems to have experienced a catastrophic software crash.
Fox wins and advances.
Pfft, Fox had already wasted himself and ringed-out several minutes before. The two simply were trying to figure out how to get the sword out of the behemoth's chest, but all was taken care of.
