The statement hit Jacosa hard and he looked at the ground again nodding slightly. It just wasn't fair, why did it bother him so much ? "Nothing, I only have this pendant.." He took off the necklace he was wearing and showed it to Dageus. It was a small fish attached to it.
Suddenly the puddle started to spread it's water close to their feet. Jacosa sighed and looked at the water. It had to do with his emotions, somehow it had, he just wasn't sure why it was like this. "It's swirling because of me, I don't know why. Water likes to do that."

Dageus leaned forward a bit to look at the strange necklace. It was an interesting piece. He didn't have anything from his real parents, except for the obvious genetics. "It's pretty good here, though. You're not missin' much at all," he said with a casual shrug.
The wolverine glanced down at the moving puddle and cautiously extended one clawed foot out to touch it. "Weeeeeeeeeird. I have one sister who can move stuff with her mind, but I've never seen water do that!"

It had never appeared to the otter that it could have been bad on the other side. He had always thought of it as a loss, but perhaps Dageus was right and this lifestyle was far better ? Perhaps he'd just try to adjust and agree on this, but the teenagehood inside of him didn't let him do so, not yet.
"Yeah, I don't really know why it's doing it, I can't even control it." Of course he felt flattered by Dageus' unhidden amazement, but still it felt weird to have a power you're not able to define clearly. "Did you meet some of the others already ? I haven't seen a lot of them for a long time."

Dagues chuckled at the water's movement. It was almost like it was alive. How odd! "Nuh, I haven't met anybody else from the place yet except you. I've just met my family," he said with a shrug. It didn't bother him a great deal, though he was rather curious about his fellow... adoptees? Was that the word? It sounded long and complicated enough. "What sort of others are there?"
