Kaede smiled and watched Amy. Tag? Tag! Kaede laughed and ran after Amy, her tail wagging incredibly fast. She chased after Amy, even with Amy being heavy from pups, she was quite fast. Kaede giggled and chased after her. Everything would be fine for the both of them.

Ammy tagged again, until she saw the sky. From the sun's position, it was getting near time to be heading back, if they wanted to be home by when darkness fell, that was. "We should probably be heading back..." Ammy said reluctantly, as she started to pad off in the direction of home. She turned to make sure the jackal was following her. In a few weeks, I very well may not be able to run... Ammy thought to herself. She had kept her true fears hidden, it was her way. She would be very vulnerable in a couple of weeks... and it wouldn't be long until her belly was swollen with the pups. Still, she had plenty of friends to help her out when the time came. She looked over her shoulder to make sure the golden jackal was coming home with her.

Kaede padded beside Amy and smiled, just merely thinking to herself silently within her mind. She would help Amy as much as she could, help get her food and water and such. Amy would sleep in her home, perhaps Kaede thought of sleeping in her den hideaway she just finished off recently. Either way, Amy was here to stay, and soon their would be new life in the Pridelands.
