-The Great Kizzy Capers!-
April 5, Upon recieving a note from Mayor Chiaku that my seedling was almost ready to be delivered to me, I was stricken with jitters of happiness. After waiting for a little one of my own it was pure bliss to be so close to having one to hold, watch over and love.
In her note Chiaku also reminded me about having a name ready. I was flabbergasted that I could have been so stupid as to forget such an important thing! I quickly searched through my book of babynames. I love learning about the meanings of the names so I have a few books scattered about. I picked out several meanings that seemed to work, "Firey," "Faerie queen," "Child longed for," "Flower that will never fade," but none of the names seemed to correspond well. I would try them out, shorten them to nicknames, but they just weren't sticking.'
Suddenly I spotted 'Cinnamon' amidst the sea of repetitive 'God's this or God's that.' I quickly scanned over to see what name it went with and boom, there it was. "Kizzy." It was the perfect name. Snappy, funky, and seemed fit for a Fire Elemental. I quickly wrote it down on a note and sent it off to Chiaku, she'd love to hear it.
6:39 PM The moment arrived. Chiaku appeared out of what seemed like nowhere and in her hands was a little red bloom atop a green cactus with long yellow prickles. I was stunned when I first saw her. I just sat there, taking in the sight of her. She was so different from all the others. So vibrant in color and beautiful. Cinnamon describes her exactly. Sweet, but there is a bit of a bite to it as well. I flaunt her proudly as she is what I had dreamt of.

Kizzy moved for the first time~! Though....I'm almost certain she was only doing it because I wasn't paying much attention to her. Later I was humming a lil tune and she seemed to lightly wiggle her petals. Does this mean she likes the music or not, though? I've yet to figure that one out...

April 7,
To help with the bandaid and blood transfer costs I purchased a wonderful new wagon to help Kizzy and I travel. She sits snuggly in her new pot amongst a large wrapping of safety blankets to ensure that she doesn't get jostled. The floor of the wagon also has some pillows on it...to absorb some bouncing and such. This in no way means I don't carry her or 'hug' at her, I still give her love and affection, but currently it's a little hard to do...

April 13th
I've just experienced the most wonderful thing that's ever happened in my life. I couldn't explain it in words, for there don't seem to be words to describe watching the birth of your child. I guess it was a birth... Since now my animated little cactus is a beautiful little baby girl. I've never taken care of a child before, but I have an overwhelming urge to do whatever it takes to make sure she's happy and healthy.

April 13th
Stopped in at Mr. Toshi's place, as Kizzy's birth caught his and his son, Absalom,'s attention. He was very kind and had some stew on the stove which he offered to my little pumpkin and I. She didn't seem to like it very much. While there I met Ms. Hisakata and her daughter Xue-Lien. It's amazing to see all of these little children who seem like my little Kizzers. I hope she becomes friends with them. I want her to be a nice and friendly person.

Spring 11
We lead such a busy life in this village. There seems hardly any time to sit and rest before the next crisis arises. Let me recap the recent events:
When I returned home with Kizzy from Toshi and Absalom's house we were soon treated with a visit from our new friends. Kizzy seemed to enjoy herself, though she got a bit selfish with the little boy's stuffed dragon. It took some coaxing to get her through her fit. She's stubborn little thing it seems.
On top of this my little girl said her first word! 'Pancake.' I didn't expect her to grow as fast as she is. It seems like a blur at times. Something like my memories of my own childhood. Playing with my mommy while she'd be working. Later helping her, when I got a bit older, and turning more and more into an independant person. I miss my mother.... I hope Kizzy doesn't leave anytime soon. I don't know how I'd cope with out my little one.

Spring 11
Unfortunately, Kizzy did leave. After Toshi and I made some pancakes for the kids, who seem much bigger now, they ran off with out eating. Confusion and panic, I didn't know what was going on, but all I cared about was getting my little girl back!
It turns out that all the Fae children ran off, but into the woods. I've never gone near them, as I don't like the dark, or being alone, but if Kizzy's in there, I guess none of that's going to matter. Though I do wish we could've been given the real locations of the children. That stupid little bug could have delayed us so long that Kizzy could have...
No, I'm not going to think that way. Besides, she's home safe and sound. And so peaceful when she's sleeping. You'd never know how boisterous she can get.

[I shall post ... IN ARPEE-STYLE~!]
The young musician wanders back into the Inn, the place she was informed that Kizzy and the Inn maid, Sai lived. Looking around, she saw no one. She smirked, looking over, she saw a door to where, most likely, the maid's room was in ... or maybe it was the kitchen ... sometimes maid's rooms (I meant a broom closet, or whatever ... damn ... so confused~!) and kitchens were combined ... (Okay, I stop before I confuse myself.)
She slipped a box by the door and wander back to her room. The box had a tag on it that clearly said, 'To - Kizzy.'
Upon opening the box, she will find ...

A book of fire ... probably a good way to write about events of the Pancake Cult, or whatever, and such.
And to go with the book ...

PANCAKES~! scream domokun heart twisted ninja

Kizzy smuggles the box away into the room and locks the door. She stares at it intently, even though she can't read, and decides that it must be for her since who would want to give a box to her mother? Really now! The girl claws at it and opens it up to reveal the delicious presents. The pancakes are absorbed via osmosis and she hugs the book close.
