
CADILLAC MODEL A.
This is considered to be the first Cadillac automobile
offered to the public, and the price was $800 in 1903.
The design was developed in 1902 and was fitted with
a single-cylinder, water-cooled, 98-cubic-inch-displacement
engine that was built by Leland & Faulkner. It was centrally
located, horizontally, with the cylinder facing to the rear.
