Gigantic.

That wasn't the ship's name, but it certainly could have been. From the outside, it appeared that Super Shining Nova had eight decks and could easily house several thousand vactioners. It was a beautiful sight to behold, and would certainly be a worthy and marvelous vessel to take a trip on.

The ironic thing was that it had only seen the see maybe twice. See, despite looking like a cruise ship, it certainly wasn't that.

Yes, the ship could carry to upward a thousand passengers and staff members. Yes, it had a generous amount of rooms dedicated to various fun activities. But it couldn't carry the several thousand that the initlal impression gave, and it didn't have near amount the amusement that the usual vactioner would be looking for.

This was mainly because the bottom two decks were reserved for things like Evo training and business meetings. Yes, the SS Nova was fully and completely owned by the relocation agency.

Sky Deck - A clear area. Great for seeing the view, but not much there.

Sun Deck - Contains a large swimming pool, a volleyball court, the "healthy snack store" connected to a health center and a gym.

Bridge Deck - Contains the bridge, a small medical center, an electronic game room, a card/board game room, and part of the crew's cabins.

Promenade Deck - Also known as the night life deck... It has been suitably recreated for the fact that this ship is full of children. It does still contain a small bar, but no kidlets are allowed. The center usually contains some casino-type machines and a large barrom, but all evidence of this has been taken out and it is a large lounge, which contains The Christmas Room, and is connected to a kitchen. The dance-hall that can be used for formal occassions or night-time dancing has remained as is, and will likely hold some fun events.

Riviera Deck - This is where the remainder of the crew is housed. This deck also contains the main cafeteria and a sitting lounge.

Pacific Deck - This is the Reception Deck, the one that everyone boarded on. As a consquence, it has the reception area. It also houses ALL of the guardians and children (on one side) and on the other side are all of our dear NPCs.

Bali and Coral Decks - Contain an array of training facilities and meetings. This is a restricted access area.

OOC: This RP starts with everyone already established and the ship already underway, so you can have people run into each other, etc. wherever/whenever you'd like, but here's a nice, introductory post for ya'll.

IC:

Since the guardians were the only ones coming on the cruise other than a few staff members, they were allowed to wander into the reception area and rest in the lounge as they arrived and before they were officially introduced to the ship and crew.

When that part came, it was the standard "Welcome aboard my ship, I hope we..." speech that captains generally give their passengers. Apparently no one found that too interesting or important, as Susan, Thomas, Andy, Charles, Jim, Ace, and the agency's messenger all wandered in at various times during the speech.

Charles looked just as haggard and tired as ever... don't bother with the puns, between Jim and Thomas, he's already heard them all... but somehow he had managed to get himself into some casual clothes. Thomas was looking much better than the guardians may have previously seen him, though maybe there was some strain on his currently not-so-jovial face. It was easy to tell that at least part of the scowl on his face was due to Andy, who had indeed changed very much since he'd last seent he guardians... was it a year? Over a year ago? He was still in fantastic shape, but he had lost a good deal of weight. Something in the way he carried himself had changed...Not that he wasn't still homey and friendly, but he didn't seem to be bursting at the seams with silly energy directed at the kids either. He edged uncomfortably away from both Charles and Thomas, hovering closer to Susan, who hadn't changed much.

Jim was Jim, the boss computer geek. Serious face, concerned glances to his boss, and observational sweeps of the room as always, but he had welcomed his young son aboard the ship, who was currently bouncing back from foot to foot in glee.

And the messenger... well... there, he was dressed as always. Tenchcoat, looking like he'd just gotten off of a motor cycle. And cynical grin. What WAS it with this guy?

---

After the Captain's speech, Charles smiled cordially at the man, and then to the guardians, "I'm glad each of you have come. We plan to first of all have a great timei, though inbetween having fun, we're also planning on doing some training and getting to know each of you a little better. It's been awhile. I hope everyone enjoys this trip."

After that, everyone was lost in the hullabaloo of getting their room keys, unpacking, and getting acquainted with the ship. There would be plenty of time for fun and chatter later.

[I am a ship :'3]

Zayd was fascinated with the view from the Sky Deck. True, not much was happening up there, but the view...! All that water! All that sky!
Ahem.
Jenny was still unpacking in a fit of housekeepingly cheerfulness, scattering lavender cushions throughout the various drawers, and other such things. She would quite probably be at it for hours (clothes were clothes, why take such care with them? It was freaky). She had even packed his bag for him, considering he only really wanted the clothes he stood up in, and the stuffed lion toy. He had been surprised, to say the least, by the amount she had produced and packed; just how long were they going to be here? She had said something about 'christmas', something he hadn't really experienced before, and, vaguely, 'new years' - which meant, in his estimation, fireworks.
With a little sigh, he leaned on the rail, head on hands, humming contentedly. Maybe there would even be dolphins; there had been some in that story about Orpheus - as one could tell, his education was going fast apace. He hadn't really explored the ship properly yet, quite content to stare at the sea from up here.

[All important and stuff. ^_^ Skydeck, Susan and Zayd]

Susan, or Darebone as the world knew her, arrived one the Sky Deck sometime while Zayd was admiring the view. Considering they hadn't quite gotten into warm waters yet, she wasn't out to get a suntan, though that was definitely on the list for the future. Currently, she'd brought her lawnchair up with her and a textbook, of all things, to read while she was up enjoying the fresh air.

She set down her chair and put her book on top and then walked over beside Zayd, "It's the best place on the ship, isn't it?"

[Megan, wandering around the ship (give me a place to be ^_^) ]

Megan was beyond excited to be on this ship. She'd ran around AriyaLauna the whole time they were waiting outside, and bounced impatiently through the captain's and Charles' speeches. All she wanted to do was go exploring.

Her room was fascinating enough that she'd played around in it for an hour. All decked out like fairyland underworld, she'd spent uite some time exploring through all the nooks in crannies of both her room, AriyaLauna's, and the joint bathroom they'd shared. It was like living in a castle!! A big waterbed and pretty carved wood and everything made to look like she was in some pretty tropical sea. It was fantastic!! When she'd realized that even AriyaLauna had lost interest enough to go wandering off someplace, she took off to go exploring as well.

Megan couldn't get over how COOL this ship was! It was big, not like you were in a ship at all. More like... like a mansion! Everything was neat to look at. This was going to be the best vacation ever! Megan quite forgot her diginity and her mature little-teen years to be like a kid again as she rushed through the ship, trying to see and do and explore everything all at once.

"Wha -?" Zayd jumped; he hadn't realised that there was anyone else up here, too caught up in the view. Suprised, he turned to her, a little nervous. "Um... yeah. It's a really nice view" He smiled nervously, fiddling with a braid.

(( ^^;; Sorry for taking so long to jump in. I hope this is all right.

Also, the person she's waving to can be anybody... Or even nobody if you'd like. XD))

K.A. Taig was somewhat dismayed. The woman with long auburn hair had been wearing short sleaves that day, and found that her pale arms now had light blue spirals drawn all over them. She'd fallen prey to one of her bad habits that came from carrying a small collection of colorful markers on her person and hands that couldn't stand being idle when there was nothing to do.

On top of that, she wasn't quite sure where she was on the ship. She wished that she hadn't zoned out like that during the Captain's introduction... If she hadn't, she wouldn't be lost because she'd probably know where the bathrooms were located, as well as not even need to find them.

She glanced around as she tried to spot a door that might lead to a bathroom. She needed to get the marker off before anyone important actually noticed. First impressions were everything, and having marker all over your arms... wasn't very professional looking...

She blinked in surprise when she thought she saw someone else. She waved politely before calling out.

"E-Excuse me!"

o O (*Kicks self for not RPing more* Darn time being sucked away by other things...

Candice and Joshua are looking for their rooms ^-^~)

Candice was running around as usual... through things more to be precised. While she had been waiting for her leg to heal and catching up on all the classes she had missed, the little super had managed to advance in leaps and bounds. There was something different about her now... maybe in the way she glanced up at Joshua as he attempted to man-handle the case through the hallway.

"Did you really have to pack all those games... I am sure there will be others to play with..." Joshua put down the case for the fith or sith time and rubbed at his arms. The case seemed like a ton and only seemed to get heavier as time went on. "I mean, it's not like you always get to go to Hawaii, on a boat no less."

"It's a ship... a cruise ship..." Candice corrected Joshua before spinning around, arms out streched. "And it's huuuuuge! But I couldn't leave my games at home, who knows if I get seasick... or worse... BOARD!" She giggled before sweeping through a door. "I think this is it!" Candice poked her head back through before eeping and pulling her head back.

"Candice? You ok?" Joshua frowned before opening the door and giving her a good examining look. He caught her massaging her neck. "You didn't let your consentraition waver again?" While he did encourage her new found confidence in her powers, the hacker was a little more cautious than she and he worried she might get hurt again.

"Nope I'm fine!" Candice sprung up and spun around again. "And remember what I said! No worrying about me or anything else until we get back to the main land OK?" She shook her finger at him seriously before giving him a hug. "It's Christmas and we get to go to Hawaii!!!!"
