I think I'll se4ll it to the Golden Compass people...can't remember the name, but I don't think you need an agent. And my book is really, really good to me...and I've read a lot...so yeah...I wanna get published! ^(^0^)^

Oh man, HP7 is gonna be legendary. It's going to end one of the most popular book series of all time. I mean, it's captured the attention of people who've never even opened a fantasy book before. It won't die away that easily.

And the HP5 movie looks pretty decent. I'm more interested in the Eragon movie and the Golden Compass movie.

Is it bad that you didn't get a reject slip? Doesn't that mean that they're still considering it/ planning on publishing it? I'm confused.

@Jub: The momo and ufo are awesome. Though, I probably won't get a ufo. Flying looks like it'd be fun for a total of 2 minutes. In my opinion.

Ya, supposedly there is going to be a Golden Compass movie. I haven't seen any dates or trailers, but I read an article about auditions taking place for a few of the characters. That'll be a pretty good movie, if they pull it off right.

Your book never got there? Oh... that sucks. Yes, an agent might help (only if you're really serious about it.) It'll probably cost some mullah, so make sure you have some sort of job before undertaking it. And ask for help on the agent business. People tend to get ripped off pretty often these days and it would suck to have that happen.

Speaking of the Ametris series, I plan to read that (along with a bunch of other books sitting on my shelf) this Christmas break. I never really have a ton of time to read at my own leisure during school time, and the time I do have for it I'm on the internet. But Winter and Summer breaks are when Hawk reads like the devil, so I'll finally be able to find out who these characters of yours are.

I really want an agent! But I am 14, and jobless. actually, my parents won't LET me get a job--nor will they fund my agent fee--can't win there. I'm just going to mass email it; should I get it copyrighted first? I AM very serious about it...

Yes, His Dark Materials is an awesome series! I need to read Subtle Knife. My friend says it's amazing, though not as good as the Amber Spyglass! <3

YES, READ KIRBY's BOOKS! <3 Ametris first. I really do need to get on with the story; there's an epiphany way on that is crucial to understanding Lacausta and Sirtema, and the main spoiler for all of it...but read Lacausta anyway, that's one of my better works, and it's the best story in the entire series!
